-Stepped down from role when I took on the role of Head of Equality at Slack due to a conflict of interest

ERG Position - RVP AMER, Latinoforce Global Leadership Team

-Member of regional hub leadership team
-Helped to ensure that events, panelists, and comms were inclusive and welcoming to all members with a focus on Intersectionality 
-Stepped down when I took on the role of Head of Equality at Slack due to a conflict of interest but not before transitioning the role to leader of Women @ Slack to promote much needed equality harmonization between both companies.

Promoted after 13 months in role. Worked on Salesforce's top customer account as their primary CSM in addition to managing over 20 other customers.

Principal Customer Success Manager at MuleSoft, a Salesforce company

Cloudflare, Inc.

As a Customer Success Manager, I was responsible for ensuring the success of Cloudflare's Enterprise customers and managing all of their post-sale experiences.  To do this, I maintained a deep understanding of Cloudflare's solutions to best present to customers the most relevant products and services for their specific business needs.  I was 100% responsible for the retention of my book of business.  Other responsibilities included:

-Understanding customer goals and developing plans to partner on these goals
-Ensuring customers were leveraging the Cloudflare platform to deliver business results
-Leading efforts to turn around at-risk customers
-Expanding existing customers
-Introducing new features and sharing best practices with existing customers
-Managing client on-boarding process
-Delivering quarterly account reviews

As the Global Lead for Latinflare, Cloudflare's Latinx Employee Resource Group, I was responsible for:

-Helping to build out the ERG across Cloudflare offices worldwide
-Meeting with ERG regional leads to coordinate efforts across offices
-Keeping ERG members informed about new ways to get involved and contribute to the ERG
-Working across ERG groups to collaborate and co-sponsor events
-Bringing in our Executive Champions as needed and keeping them informed of projects & initiatives
-Partnering with key departments in the organization to improve recruiting and retention outcomes

Customer Success Manager & Global Lead for Latinflare

YMCA of Greater New York

Provided oversight of school and community-based programs, services, and activities that promoted student achievement, stronger families, and school-centric community development.

- Served as advisor to the principal
- Managed team of over 25 staff members and a budget of over $1MM
- Led school projects/initiatives related to student health and wellness
- Sought input from teachers, school staff, parents and students to determine ongoing needs of students and families
- Served as point person for agencies and programs interested in partnering with the school and helped to develop new partnerships that were aligned with school goals and needs
- Worked with Parent Coordinator to ensure that parents and families had meaningful opportunities to engage with the school
- Led data collection efforts and prepared relevant reports 
- Facilitated alliances and partnerships with city agencies and non-profit partners

Community School Director

Franciscan Mission Service

•	Volunteered at San Sebastian Penitentiary for Women. Responsibilities involved practicing English with the women, starting and facilitating a faith-sharing group, teaching the women to make crafts, and generally accompanying them as they served time in prison.
•	Volunteered at Manos Con Libertad, a non-profit organization that helps formerly incarcerated women and other women in need.  Served as one of the instructors for a life-skills workshop the organization launched in 2014 and now offers several times a year. Facilitated team building training for the women workers and offered workshops to their children.
•	Volunteered at AHA Bolivia, an ethical manufacturing company employing over 200 women knitters.  As a business consultant, I assisted the owner with everything from applying for grants, to reporting on social programs offered by her company, to writing proposals, business plans, and project plans, to preparing for audits, to promoting her products on socially responsible web sites, to preparing for, and mentoring, high school and college interns.

International Volunteer

BNY Mellon | Pershing

Vetted prospective broker-dealer clients, assessed financials, and presented to internal review committee. Partnered with Conversion Team to onboard newly approved clients and introduced client stakeholders to Pershing departments. Maintained client relationships and served as primary point of contact for existing customers as it related to additional Pershing products and services.

Relationship Manager, Vice President

Led non-US business development efforts and introduced/promoted new broker-dealer technologies into non-US markets. Supported customers throughout LATAM, the Caribbean, the Middle East, Australia, Singapore, and Canada. Negotiated deal terms with C-level broker-dealer executives. Took charge to bring Product Team up to speed prior to customer calls. Acted as Voice of the Customer.

- Global Sales Team:  Due to personal successes and customer insight, invited to Pershing Global Sales team meetings.

Business Development / Relationship Management, Vice President

Managed product enhancements and adoption for broker-dealer home office. Supported Sales, visited clients, and conducted product demos. Met with customer focus group to obtain feedback, wrote requirements and prioritized enhancements and fixes; and supported usability testing (UT). Spoke at customer conferences.

- Product Manager & Pre-sales Engineer:  Repeatedly requested by Sales team to act as Pre-sales Engineer to assist in demonstrating/selling product. Instrumental in winning multiple critical deals.
- New Front-End:  Rolled out new, streamlined version of Account Opening front-end critical in selling to clients using first page to compare different providers. 
- Product Presentations:  Delivered product demos, conducted client onsite reviews, developed marketing plans, and presented at customer conferences.
- Broker-Dealer Customer Conference:  Co-presented product at broker-dealer customer conference with hundreds of participants; received outstanding customer reviews.
- Product Owner:  As Product Owner and Analyst, elicited input from broker-dealer customers and oversaw "Online Forms" product initiating shift to investor pre-filled forms.

Chase Home Finance

Directed small team to manage over 10 lead-generating projects (technical, marketing) concurrently. Developed new business in Hispanic and Asian markets, first-time home buyers, construction loans, more. Researched market environments to identify opportunities including marketing offers and alliances/partnerships. Collaborated with potential partners to shape business arrangements. 

- Asian & Hispanic Go To Market:  Examined viability of new/existing partnerships and alliances, sized opportunities, negotiated marketing/technical deal terms, and performed site visits to generate new sources of leads within Asian and Hispanic markets.
- B2B & Vanity Websites:  Directed development of B2B website to support home equity brokers and promote increased business with existing customer base. Instrumental in crafting offers creating/improving partner vanity websites.
- Retail Branch Website Project Manager:  For retail branches and loan officers, directed project to launch customized webpages with ability to take pre-applications online (new product idea). Successfully created 100+ branches with 1000+ loan officers.
- Customer Retention Website Manager:  Wrote overall project plan and supervised vendor to develop customer retention site. Facilitated project meetings, drove testing and fixes, monitored vendor, and reported regularly to internal Project Board.

It's about a little girl from Brooklyn, born to Puerto Rican parents, who always wanted to be a writer but never expected to be come one.

God works in mysterious ways. 
After getting laid off in 2023, I had to start over.

Create a business from the ground up.
Build a brand and reputation.
Tell my story in a way that connected me to my community.

Out of this challenging time, Calladita No More was born.

It's a love letter to Latinas and Women of Color. 

But more importantly, it's a reminder that life will come at you fast and you have choices.

You can take the easy route and play it safe.
Or you can use your voice, take up space, and show up differently.

I chose the latter and stand by my decision all day long.
