In my current role, I build and manage the company relationships with strategic scientific research customers based in Abu Dhabi. My day to day involves working with researchers delivering innovation and world class research to push the boundaries of science in areas such as quantum technologies, artificial intelligence, biotechnology as well as renewable energy and sustainability. I help them with identifying the cost-effective, scalable and secure compute, storage and database capabilities to accelerate time to science. My current responsibility gives me day to day practical experience (and battle scars) from putting AI and ML into production, a particular domain UAE has become a global leader in. I've specialized in delivering significant business value through large-scale digital transformation projects, with a strong focus on go-to-market development, business development, and sales and delivery leadership. I possess a multifaceted skill set, which includes cloud computing and data analytics, honed during my tenure at Amazon Web Services (AWS) and formerly PwC as well as DellEMC. I always stayed hands-on, regardless of the seniority of my role and I have five active technical certifications from AWS and another from GCP. Bringing decades of experience across multiple territories, I have gained the ability to rapidly earn trust from customer stakeholders from CEO to data analyst and gain their permission to lead the meeting. After stints in Europe, the energy, the "can do" attitude and the pace of change in the Gulf always attracted me back here where I get my deepest professional fulfillment. I have a deeply curious mind and I am now studying my MSc in Quantum Technologies.
