- Designed and managed field research projects in Turkey, Japan, the Netherlands and Germany. 
- Conducted over fifty in-depth interviews, analysed them and used character-based narratives to argue that Japan’s state identity is built on the mental model of a pacifist outlook.
- Analysed qualitative and quantitative data for patterns and connections for mental modelling.
- Created and moderated focus group discussions in Japan to understand the attitudes and experiences of Japanese people toward policy makers.
