I am the owner of Edwards Joseph Consulting and founder of www.womenspeakup.ca. I have worked in government for the past 20 years. Along the way, I developed a keen interest in business and launched out into the world of entrepreneurship. I have gained extensive experience in managing projects, programs and people. In examining and evaluating the operations and programs in various government entities, my contributions have resulted in more effective operations, improved service delivery and strengthened knowledge management systems. In addition, I am passionate about women's issues, youth and community development and have made significant contributions through membership in community groups, participating, developing and delivering transformative programs. Community program areas include women's issues, youth development through the performing arts (dance), science education, and mental health education. I am a member of the board of directors of the Errol Mathias Joseph Science Scholarship Fund ( in memory of my uncle a former science and math teacher) which promotes the study of science in rural Trinidad and Tobago.
