This included the launch of new payment products that captured the market's attention and secured numerous accolades for Best Technology Product in the highly competitive hospitality industry.

Developed Guestline's product & go-to-market strategy in response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Led the ideation and launch of a new product that addressed the urgent needs of the hospitality industry. Achieved pre-orders from 10% of customers and achieved £000k+ ARR in the first quarter

Headed the product discovery of Guestline's expansion into new European territories (Dach/Benelux), enabling the company to double its total addressable market, and execute on the opportunity

Commercial Product Manager of Education software, responsible for conducting market appraisals & working with customers to build product scope, business cases and go-to-market strategies through to managing day-to-day product management and roadmap delivery of Education products. Key achievements:

• Product Lead of next-generation (multi-tenant) Education software holding one of the largest budgets of 125+ products across Group

• Developed the Education division (Schools, FE and HE) vision and growth strategy (5-year horizon) alongside the Education Board to create alignment and product portfolio harmonisation

• Developed commercial cases for the Education strategy and roadmap and presented at Advanced Board-level with £1m+ business investment & sign off

• Developed the commercial case and requirements to verticalise Advanced’s Cloud ERP products to the Education market

• Advisory role to Education acquisition targets, assessing strategic and portfolio fit at Group and Divisional level

• Developed the customer engagement strategy

• Appraised the Education market: market drivers, segmentation, market sizing & opportunity and competitive analyses

Responsible for leading the market discovery, customer discovery, product discovery and commercial business case to support the transition of Farmers Weekly’s print classifieds proposition to digital media.

• Researched key drivers and strategic issues within the used agricultural machinery and equipment market 

• Research and recalibrated product market fit and recalibrated the targeting strategy

• Developed product hypotheses on buying behaviours and conducted detailed tests to inform the roadmap

• Created and promoted the product vision and strategy

Associate Product Manager

Islamic Help

Responsible for the development and management of flagship projects in Tanzania operating on climate change and poverty alleviation projects.

• Developed a digital media and content strategy for Islamic Help Tanzania, which incorporated development of the NGOs website.

• Devised long-term strategy, project proposals, concept notes and funding propositions of significant value to the organisation. Portfolio includes approved proposals: 

  - To Provide environmental sustainability training to 20 rural villages and to plant 1,000,000 trees (in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for planting the most trees in one hour by 100 people (50,000 trees))

  - To partner with the US Embassy in London to design and deliver poverty alleviation workshops involving a deployment to the US for volunteers who are involved in International development. Followed by a joint deployment between the UK and US volunteers to Tanzania, Africa

• Established relations with governing bodies and village locals in rural Tanzania to plan and manage ‘aid delivery’ logistics 

• Designed and delivered interactive workshops on environmental sustainability, aimed at driving awareness and changes in practices amongst rural villages in Tanzania

• Created and promoted the vision, mission and values of the Children’s Eco Village – an innovative, sustainable village developed to provide care for up to 160 children in Tanzania

• Co-organised an event at the House of Lords, working alongside Lord McLennan of Rogart to fundraise for the Children’s Eco Village

• Conducted environmental research and analysis that involved closely liaising with the Director of International Development and environmental analysts (IFEES)

• Responsible for leading an expedition in rural Tanzania; planning the logistics of aid-projects, integrating company policies and procedures, leading a team, managing project execution and post-deployment retrospectives

Product Marketing Manager

Mission Possible is a volunteer-based campaign introduced by Islamic Help that provides volunteers with the opportunity to get involved in charity work, however on a much larger scale. Mission Possible goes that extra mile and takes volunteers abroad for campaigning and fundraising purposes. 

• Team leader of a team of 6 volunteers from United Kingdom in Tanzania. Responsibilities included managing the team, following itineraries, risk assessments and health and safety

• Planned and managed logistics for aid distribution including establishing relations and operating closely with governing bodies and village locals (in rural Tanzania) 

• Successful delivered all projects which included education, food distribution, water harvesting systems and environment regeneration
