In this role I work with existing and new clients on implementation, integration and migration projects.  Responsible for discussing HubSpot platform capabilities along with integration and implementation needs pre-sale, as well as accountable for designing a strategy, solution design and documentation post-sale.

Utilising my advanced knowledge around the HubSpot technology capability, in terms of how it can be configured and implemented to solve business problems, integrate with other systems, create opportunities for efficiencies, data management, reporting and automation across the CRM Platform.

During my year as part of Senior Leadership at HubGem the company had a growth of 225% in won revenue and so up-tiered twice from a Gold to a Platinum to a Diamond HubSpot partner - putting the agency in the top 3% of HubSpot partners globally after just two years in business. 

Other achievements in this role include 5 nominations for regional business awards, 2 of which we won, and 3 nominations for national business awards. 

We grew rapidly from a two-woman team in January 2021 to a team of 6 FTE's by December of the same year. As in my previous role, I led on recruitment and additionally line managed 3 of the new recruits. 

I implemented the use of Trello boards as the task management system for my team, allowing for digital collaboration which was important as a remote business and clear oversight of each individuals current workload, past achievements and personal development goals. This helped to demonstrate the value of each member of my team to the company and also illustrate the companies investment and desire to see them grow as individuals.

Alongside managing the marketing department, I delivered HubSpot CRM onboarding and implementation to clients, inclusive of inbound strategy sessions to help clients grow and scale utilising HubSpot and other integrated platforms.

Senior Growth Consultant

Quantum Companies

My time at Quantum Companies centred on website development. This included integrations with HubSpot CRM, eCommerce and payment gateways, ensuring brand consistency with a focus on user experience and responsive design.

Introducing a new tech-stack called for new internal processes to be defined and training programmes to be written and delivered to align departments and optimise the use of the digital software. 

Aside from the digital marketing demands of the role I worked closely with the in-house graphic designer and videographer to build a bank of marketing collateral for print, digital and TV. 

Additionally, the fast growth of the company required me to lead on recruitment; writing job descriptions, reviewing applications and interviewing candidates. Production of a comprehensive hand-over guide was complete to coincide with the end of my time at the company to ensure a smooth transition.

Marketing Manager

Destination Lincolnshire

I was approached by Destination Lincolnshire following my successful implementation of HubSpot at Lincoln Minster School on the recommendation of a mutual business contact*.

The first few months were spent managing digital content, including social media and the Expression Engine and WordPress websites, whilst getting a better understanding of the businesses current processes, goals and blockers. 

I collated a proposal outlining how HubSpot could be used to:

- manage Destination Lincolnshire's partnership programme
- implement a user-generated content strategy
- remain GDPR-compliant with their B2C communications
- report on all of the above to evidence partnership value to their B2B audience and board.

The proposal focused on building a 'Digital Tourist Information Centre' through the use of HubSpot tools, including creating an online knowledge base of FAQ's for B2C website visitors to navigate, integrated with chatflows to direct enquiries to the relevant resource.

The B2B side of the proposal focused on using automation and a bespoke sales pipeline to build a frictionless sign-up and renewal process for partners and the creation of a 'Partner Portal' to collate online resources and information for partners.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit the UK I was initially furloughed and then let go before delivering the proposed work. However, in January 2021 I was hired in my new role at HubGem by Visit Lincoln's CEO to deliver the proposal as an external consultant.

*This contact was a former manager and I was also approached by Lincoln College with an offer of a role at the same time based on their recommendation. I was keen to gaining experience utilising HubSpot within an industry other than education and so decided to move forward with the offer in the tourism sector.

Digital Marketing Lead

Lincoln Minster School

After joining the Marketing department at this UK Independent school with a focus on digital content strategy, the scope of my role grew as I covered maternity leave of the department Director. 

During this cover period, the school registrar stepped down and, I led on successfully merging the Marketing and Admissions departments together, with minimal disruption to live enquiries. 

Notable achievements within my time at the school were:

- a 54.7% growth in social media following
- the launch of a new suite of marketing materials, inclusive of prospectus and 360° video tour
- a new school website built on WordPress, inclusive of graphics and copy
- a successful presence at the 2019 Lincolnshire Show, which led to a boost in enquiries
- a nomination for local award 'Bringing Lincoln to the World' for our international marketing 

My biggest achievement in the role was the implementation of HubSpot CRM to lead capture and drive admissions. 

During my time at the school, HubSpot was used for marketing, internal and external communications, school admissions processes and reporting on student recruitment to key stakeholders. I am most proud of converting an entirely paper application process into a completely digital one, streamlining the process and lessening the workload internally and delighting prospects externally. 

And thus my love for HubSpot was born!

Lincolnshire Co-op

I joined Lincolnshire Co-op as a part-time team leader which worked well alongside being a mother to a young child. As my child grew so did my capacity and ambition and, after approaching the relevant heads of departments, I was able to explore more marketing-focused areas of the business.

Within the Communications department I worked on content for the website, the printed members magazine and social media. 

My role as Customer Liaison Representative for my local area involved building relationships with people and businesses in the local area, fundraising for local causes and supporting projects in the local area. 

I was keen to stay working with Lincolnshire Co-op after I had moved into full time employment at Lincoln Minster School and was able to move onto a 'casual' contract with the Events department. 

With the events team I would attend and help out at events such as county shows, AGMS and food tasting events.

I was sad to official hand my notice in in October 2021, when I was unable to find capacity for these events alongside building up the agency in my full-time role as Senior Growth Consultant at HubGem Marketing.
