My research explores how people learn collectively to innovate in public services. Following a 15 year career in medical education, I now support public services and small businesses develop learning strategies through an action learning, engaged scholarship lens. I convene the Relational Public Policy ans Public Mangement Research Group at Northumbria University, where we lead the research agenda for Human Learning Systems (HLS) (https://www.humanlearning.systems/) and provide learning partnerships for those adopting HLS and other relational approaches to public management, including those in Changing Futures Northumbria, iterating the Liberated Method.
