I'm Hannah Marshall, and I've worked in the engineering field for over 5+ years, but currently, I am a Community Manager for GrowthPod, a marketing company. You're probably wondering how I changed my career from engineering to marketing. Well, here's my story. When I was a teenager, everything about coding was my hobby. I've always been a problem solver, an introvert with a passion for technology and a technophile obsessed with the latest gadgets, which made me wonder, why not give it a try and pursue a degree in engineering? After my graduation in engineering, I worked on freelance projects while looking for a full-time job. As a programmer, I'm familiar with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Python, Ruby, jQuery, and AngularJS, but I'm always learning new things. However, I soon realized that the job was becoming monotonous and I wanted to try something new. I decided to switch careers and give it a try. Since I didn't have any marketing experience, it was initially challenging for me, but I didn't give up and now, I'm the GrowthPod Community Manager. GrowthPod is a community of active LinkedIn creators who help boost each other’s content on LinkedIn through authentic, initial engagement.
