-	Following recognition of the independence and creative direction of my work in PS casualwear I was promoted to Designer and given oversight of additional product ranges, while taking on responsibility for the junior team members in those areas.
-	My main focus is currently on fully factored product and development of some CMT product areas. Lead designer on jersey, apparel, and shirting. Working with the other designer across other CMT sectors.
-	Overseeing several key production groups has developed my skills in balancing workloads, prioritizing deadlines, delegating tasks amongst the team to produce the collection on time and to the highest standards. 
-	Lead for presentation meetings of the collection to the company directors and Paul Smith for each key stage of the season: Presenting mood, concept and styling for the collection and the seasonal show. 
-	Integrating feedback from wholesale and retail to ensure the collection meets commercial needs while remaining design lead. 
-	Designing across the range, I have had the chance to learn new skills in clothing design, considering the not just the aesthetic of a garment but also its functionality within the customer’s wardrobe and its ability to target a commercial niche. 
-	Analysing sales figures and buyers feedback to push next season design directions.
-	One of only three designers, I am used to working as a group to design across all products to bring about a full clothing range that balances the brand’s creativity with commercial considerations to achieve a fully integrated collection.

Designer - Lead on Jersey + Shirting.

-	As designer for the Jersey and apparel segments of PS by Paul Smith I have had responsibility for the highest selling product area within the company, in both volume and monetary value. Since taking over this role sales figures have doubled on many product lines, and sales across the range have increased 40% since AW16 selling. By demographic sales to ages 20-30 have risen by 45% during this period showing the forward thinking of my area within the brand.
-	Responsibility for all fabric design in jersey sector, including yarn selection, colour, knit construction, and overseeing fully factored fabric manufacture. In this period PS’ use of fabric has developed dramatically. While now in a supervising role I continue to sign off on all major decisions regarding fabric development and continue to have a keen interest in research and experimentation in new materials, finishing methods and trims. Upon taking reasonability for the jersey sector the range has developed from 10 qualities with 100 buy options to now being over 40 different qualities a season with over 500 buy options, in response to positive feedback received across channels to innovations in this area. 
-	Management of casualwear / leisurewear product; managing technical staff, factory communications and critical path planning. By making factory visits in Asia and Europe I have helped communicate the PS vision to the wider team and ensured that the product is in on time and produced exactly to spec. Prior to my direct involvement in this area PS saw more than 20% of the collection show late delivery. Since taking on this role the past three seasons have seen no late deliveries. 
-	Paul Smith jeans and PS rebrand: I worked on development of new branding as part of Paul Smith’s drive to capture new segments and respond to a changing market. This gave me invaluable experience of how to respond and update branding and design according to changing market demands without losing sight of a brand’s core message.

-MA fashion design and technology menswear, graduation with a 1st – distinction.  
-Masters in menswear fashion design and technology, September 2012 – graduated January 2014
-My master’s collection looks at the relationship between traditional and digitized design and manufacture, through the study of body anthropometrics. The brand style is traditional men’s tailoring with elements of sportswear; it is everyday classics that are backbones of your wardrobe. Fabrication is a combination of print. Leather, hand weave and digital weave. 
-My collection is accompanied by have woven leather bags and I have collaborated with various different specialist, and international companies for my fabrics, fastening and accessory and footwear production, including sponsorship from Converse footwear. 
-Sourcing at Premier Vision, working with international companies and building contacts.
-Tailoring taught by Savile row master tailor. 
-Photoshop, illustrator and CAD for portfolio and presentation
