I help small to enterprise geotechnical consultancies streamline their borehole logging and reporting processes with a cloud-based software that can be used both in the field on a tablet/mobile and back in the office on a web application. As a geotechnical engineer myself, I understand first-hand how inefficient the logging/reporting process can be and am here to help my fellow engineers with their frustrations.

Geotechnical Engineer & Account Executive

Stantec

-Conducted design calculations and performed other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
-Performed field work related to geotechnical explorations and/or construction related activities such as soil/rock core logging, drill rig coordination/planning, and preparing/collecting samples.
-Prepared geotechnical/geological designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports.
-Supported the geotechnical/geological team in providing support services during construction that included submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications.
-Modeled various scenarios for dams and benched hillsides/roads in Geostudio and Rocscience. 
-Reviewed mass quantities of boring logs and laboratory data from past investigations and organized it into a concise summary.

Geotechnical Engineer

Kiewit

Field Work
-Managed and delegated subcontractors building multiple cofferdams and driving over 5,000 piles for foundation on a LNG plant.
-Assisted and managed two deep soil mixing and permeation grouting operations on a highway project.
-Responsible for the interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
-Conducted field survey and work layout support including elevation, control points, and compilation of as-built data.
-Produced and processed daily labor timesheets.
-Reviewed and assisted in preparation of job hazard analyses (JHA's)
-Participated in jobsite safety reviews, toolbox meetings, and safety trainings.
-Ordered and scheduled material deliveries.
-Planned, scheduled, and coordinated work groups on the job site.
-Supervised field operations for subcontractors and crew loading/offloading pile onto the construction site.

-Performed engineering calculations and technical drafting to support field operations.
-Assisted in generating change orders and as-built data.
-Composed work packages/plans for operations.
-Submitted RFIs for the sub-contractor and contractor.

Soil Mix/Permeation Grout Field Engineer

-Assisted in the installation of several UPS's in various vaults and pump stations.
-Wired various turbidity meters to measure water quality.
-Produced an informational video of the network and industrial controls team.
-Facilitated the install of intrusion detection systems within vaults.
-Completed multiple wire splices involved in UPS installations.

Industrial Controls Intern

-Installed approximately 500 VOIP phones.
-Installed network equipment in various data closets.
-Troubleshot problems with network and telephones.
-Provided excellent customer service to employees who received phone upgrades.
-Introduced to the programming language of Python.
-Obtained training certificate to operate on construction sites.
-Terminated a high volume of jacks and assisted in helping set up a new data center.
-Introduced to dams and fluid dynamics.

IT/Network Services Intern 

OSIsoft

-Worked on creating a graphical display with company software to monitor a network for dark fiber.
-Took in person and online classes to become familiar with the PI system (programming).
-Evaluated the lead process in Inside Sales and provided constructive feedback.
-Assisted the marketing team with side projects that helped their system run smoother.
