Reporting directly to the CEO of Zero X, I drive research and operational excellence in Malaysia. I lead biochar research co-development with University Technology Petronas and play a pivotal role in expanding Zero X’s footprint in the region, growing affiliate companies and building robust business networks. My role involves collaborating with academic and technical experts, including those at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), to enhance R&D on waste-to-energy solutions. I manage research budgets, negotiate contracts, and have identified four key focus areas for biochar research: biochar-based fertilizers, purification processes, integration into building materials, and gas filtration systems.
