Fractional Creative Director (Non-Executive) supporting leadership teams to clarify brand strategy, sharpen messaging and deliver high-impact creative direction.

I work with founders and boards to translate business objectives into clear creative strategy across brand, video, marketing and communications. My experience spans broadcast, FMCG, tech and early-stage ventures, where I’ve led creative systems, brand development and story-led campaigns at scale.

I’m engaged on a fractional basis (typically 1–4 days per month or project-based), providing strategic oversight, creative governance and senior creative leadership while enabling teams to deliver stronger work with greater consistency.

Simply, it was the best business expo I have attended.
Rarely is there anticipation starting in the car park building to a buzz that lasted all day.

Reason enough for a second post, reflecting on the excellent choice of venue at the magnificent Gothic revival, Kelham Hall , the range of speakers, workshop hosts, exhibitors, and attendees. 

Particularly wishing to hear the last speaker, the inspirational Steve Judge - he not only told his story - from life-threatening car accident and seriously long operation to gold medalist triathlete, plus his GOLD formula for success. If you ever gain the chance to hear him - I recommend you grab it.

Well done again to the other fine speakers who so impressed the note-taking delegates:  Elsie Greenjordan Ba(Hons) Ricky Locke Tony Brooks (MSc Psych) Matt Davies ⚡️

The fully-booked workshops by Christopher Allbones (Chartered Marketer) Emma Easton MA FRSA, Tommy Atkins, Katie Raithby-Veall & Kaffy Rice-Oxley , were something I shall hopefully catch up with another time.

Energetically keeping momentum and continuity in the Speakers' Den and main stage, respectively were Katie Allen & Laurey Buckland ( who also found time to run a workshop)

Sunday is #painting day.

The youngest landlady in the country asked me to bring some warmth and a little fun to the décor of her country pub in Lincolnshire.

When Neve took over The New Inn at Folkingham, near Grantham & Sleaford, she was barely old enough to buy herself a drink.
A wise head on young shoulders, with counsel  and support from family, she noticed a gap in the market and is running the local hostelry very well indeed.

In addition to the pheasant logo, country scenes with dogs and details of multicoloured plumage adorn the walls. Perhaps another post is needed to show these off.

Seduced by a plate o' cheesy chips, I set to work, completing this, the 5th pub/bar I've painted, much to the delight and entertainment of patrons.

In these terrible conditions for the hospitality sector, I encourage you to support your local pubs, these hubs and lifelines of community - or lose them.
