A little background about myself: Growing up in Brooklyn, I was very fortunate. I played the trumpet for 12 years, I was in all my school bands and orchestras, and participated in all the school plays. Before going to college I was captain of the Trude Heller Dancers in New York City, when Trudes was the spot to be. Till this day I love music, and I always wished to be under the lights. However, I soon realized that my singing voice wasn't going to cut it. Despite my lack of vocal chords as some might say, my wish came true years later when Display Designs came into existence. However, getting under the lights wasn't an easy road. I served a 5 year apprenticeship in the window apparel trade, and graduated to become a top end Ladies & Mens NYC window trimmer with an apprentice of my own. Because of the work I did, I shortly received calls from various manufactures to display their products at trades shows. We started making panels and props in our garages, and before we knew it, we were in the trade show business. A few years passed (working in a real shop) and we became award winners at the Mens Apparel Guide In California aka "MAGIC"​, the largest apparel show in the United States. During our breakthrough in the apparel industry, we've been lucky to work with great companies like Everlast, Phat Pharm, Nautica, Nautica Kids, April Walker, etc. We won best of show at MAGIC 9 times, a feature I'm very proud of. The trade show industry keeps expanding for us way beyond the apparel zone and today we are featured in trade shows all over the United States. We are constantly looking for new horizons and thanks to our loyal clients, we've been able to expand our horizons everyday. I have been fortunate enough to help raise an amazing company into what it has become today and I've been under the lights ever since!
