From the outset of my professional IT career in 1991, I exhibited an Agile mindset, constantly questioning how I can make myself, my team, and the organizations I serve better. As early as 1994 I experimented and embraced the principles of lightweight methodologies and incremental & iterative development. Success in the roles and associated proficiencies of IT Quality Consultant, Business Analyst, Project/Program Manager, and Methodology Analyst/Coach, naturally led to my initial foray into Agile development with FDD in 2001. My Agile journey has taken me to the more popular frameworks of Scrum and XP, and well beyond to the emerging disciplines of Kanban, Scaled Agile, Lean Startups and many more high performance destinations. In 2007 I began my own agile transformation and consulting services operation, LowerHead Consulting, where I now offer my 20 years of committed learning, organizational change, and technology leadership experience to clients aspiring to “do better” throughout the United States---best of all I pay my own relocation expenses, and I am committed to applying the effort necessary to achieve your desired outcomes!
