Casted

I collaborate with Casted customers on episode processing and delivering assets from our advanced services requests offerings. This includes publishing and clipping their podcasts and multimedia content into marketable moments, writing blogs, recording/editing interviews, and designing assets with custom branding. 

Often customers and I discuss podcast and marketing strategy, growth and audience engagement opportunities, and generally how the services and product at Casted can support their organization's growing marketing needs.

Part of this role includes developing services-related metrics and proof of value resources for our customers and the customer experience team. I’ve also developed product-centric metrics that show product engagement behavior with tools such as UserPilot, taking a comprehensive look at tagging and monitoring our platform’s feature set. I also create enablement workflows that educate customers on best practices and skills training with the Casted platform that open up new possibilities for saving them time and resources.

Occasionally I create customer-centric videos and help material in collaboration with the Casted marketing team.

Services & Enablement Manager

As a Client Services Specialist, I work on the Casted Customer Experience team to collaborate with partners who have managed services contracts. A lot of my role involves deep focus listening, reading, and creating on behalf of our customers and their marketing teams.

Some of the services I help our clients with daily include: 
• Working with production partners to distribute fully-edited podcasts, webinars, videos, and conversation-based content on the Casted platform.
• Transforming segments of longer podcast episodes and content into marketable clips, animations, and videos.
• Writing episode descriptions, creating content takeaways, and editing content with SEO and metadata
• Researching guests and adding show resources from guest businesses or topics of conversation to show notes and Casted landing page
• Designing graphic templates for customer audiograms/videograms
• Communicating with customers about their B2B and podcasting goals 
• Advice and strategies to grow listenership, increase engagement
• Occasionally lightly edit audio and video files pre-upload
• Various special projects depending on Casted needs
• Identifying opportunities for product growth based on customer needs

A multi-hatted role where I leveraged the Indianapolis Art Center's unique creative resources and brand identity to encourage community support of the nonprofit's mission to spread arts awareness, educational opportunities, and knowledge of its outreach programs. What I did most days: 

• Create engaging social media & digital content reflective of the Art Center brand.
• Document Art Center life and culture through high quality media production (writing, photography, videography, graphic design).
• Highlight the human interest stories of the Art Center exhibition artists, staff, students, etc.
• Refine social/digital marketing strategy.
• Grow social following while staying aware of social trends.
• Connect, develop, maintain, and strengthen Art Center's community relationships.
• Act as a brand ambassador during classes, special events, and partnerships.
• Update community calendars, social networks, and media outlets with upcoming events and press releases.
• Develop blog and catalog stories that showcase nonprofit outreach programs and current events.
• Copyedit e-blasts, course catalog content, website, and written communication.

Indiana University—Purdue University Fort Wayne

Interim management of Purdue Fort Wayne social media. Major tasks included:

• Refining digital and social marketing strategy.
• Establishing and growing Purdue Fort Wayne's new brand identity and voice. 
• Copywriting for social media posts and event promotion. 
• Photography and videography for university events, student activities, social media story presences. 
• Targeted marketing using social media paid advertising platforms.
• Developing and maintaining a creative content calendar that highlights the best of Purdue Fort Wayne's offerings and communities.

Creative Communications Strategist 

Under Armour

I provided app and website support for connected fitness platforms MapMyRun (Ride, Fitness, Hike, Walk, Dog Walk), MyFitnessPal, and Under Armour Record. Major responsibilities included communicating technical fitness and health information across a wide athletic audience, while also creating instructional content and help articles to better educate users how to use the app for achieving their fitness goals. Also responsible for social media support and outreach, product bug reporting and troubleshooting, and support logistics in relation to UA product launches. Viva la connected fitness revolución!

Product Support and Marketing Specialist

Dropbox

I was primarily responsible for supporting critically-acclaimed apps Mailbox and Carousel, with some work focusing on Dropbox initiatives for our payments team. Provided easily understandable technical support, product documentation, and cloud storage integration advice to our customers. Identified opportunities for scaling our customer communication processes and internal support tools in relation to company growth. Trained and regularly met with an outsourced customer support team to improve customer satisfaction. Also created help center content with a metrics-driven focus in order to better explain product features to millions of users.

Online Revenue Operations Specialist

A neurodivergent and ethics-driven creative. I create human-centric stories that improve business communications and marketing materials. I've worked across a wide range of industries to tell stories that generate laughs, clicks, and brand loyalty.

Currently I’m interested in working for more SaaS companies in CSM and Services-centric roles, helping B2B customers get more out of their platform experiences and contracts. In the past I’ve helped a ton of clients and brands with podcast SaaS, and would love to do something similar again.
