After the Harvest (Eat. Drink. Connect.) 

After the Harvest: Eat. Drink. Connect was a website and blog I founded and contributed to for nine years -- it was my passion project. After the Harvest celebrated food and drink with a focus on culinary talent, sustainable food, wine pairings, travel, and entertaining. All photography and written content was my own. From this, I authored and self-published After the Harvest: Eat. Drink. Connect., a coffee table book featuring recipes, wine pairings, food fiction, travel writing, and original photography. Also under the umbrella of After the Harvest, I produced and coordinated food-related events including Cultivate: A Mini Film Fest (fundraiser) and A Taste of Spring (vegetarian food and wine dinner), and launched the After the Harvest podcast, where I interviewed chefs and other passionate food and drink professionals.

Raised both funds and the public profile of the organization through communications, grants, social media, events, and speaking engagements. Recruited, managed, and retained a team of 30+ volunteers. Performed hundreds of on-site guided tours and represented Youville Centre off-site at numerous community events. Was chosen as a "P2K" (Person to Know) for United Way Ottawa's Schmoozefest Event (2013, 2014, 2015).
