My work as a consultant helps our clients to increase their online sales to international customers and find new opportunities globally. E-commerce, SEO & Digital Marketing Consultant & Mentor

I worked on an export strategy for educational software products. This included international market research and collaborative work with the UKTI (now the Department of International Trade) and Invest NI on overseas market reports, lead generation and building brand awareness.

I worked to create a variety of brand and product positioning strategies for the various overseas target markets. I worked alongside the in-house graphic designer to develop an e-commerce website for these markets, carefully creating and optimising the content and producing an SEO strategy.

I worked closely with the sales team to source and organise and attend trade shows and events around Europe and the Far East. In addition, I created sales support material, social media and e-newsletter campaigns and executed and evaluated digital and traditional marketing campaigns to support the sales staff out in the field.

In 2009 I accepted the opportunity to become the E-commerce Sales and Marketing Manager for a further four years in the company. I created and developed the e-commerce sales and marketing function within the organisation. This brand-new way of doing business for the company was successful and in my second year of running this department I exceeded the sales target by over 40%.

I managed the retail e-commerce department and associated warehouse, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Along with management, recruiting and training of administrative and warehouse staff, I was in charge of the development and marketing of the company's retail website and two other e-marketplace sales platforms, overseeing customer care, order processing, stock control and logistics.

My marketing activities included creation of online content, SEO, social media marketing, e-mail marketing, management of affiliate marketing and advertising through other digital and traditional media. I carried out extensive market research through online analytics in order to identify new marketing opportunities, aiding website development and increasing international brand awareness.

I developed skills in search engine optimisation (SEO), conversion rate optimisation (CRO) and all areas of digital marketing.

E-commerce Sales & Marketing Manager

I began as an Export Sales manager in Ulster Weavers from 2006 - 2009 managing sales & key accounts in France, southern Europe, Australasia, the Far East, Africa & South America, reporting directly to the Managing Director.

I successfully managed and recruited sales agents and distributors and identified and generated new business in designated sales territories based on my own initiative, whilst working alongside sales administrators to ensure careful coordination and follow through of customer orders.

I pro-actively researched each market and travelled extensively to aid with business and product development and pricing for an international market. My travel included organisation and attendance at trade shows and exhibitions abroad.

Export Sales Manager

I am specialise in cross-border e-commerce and have a hands-on experience of selling online globally.

I have been an E-commerce Sales and Marketing Manager for retail and software companies, managing everything from export strategy to operations to online marketing. I have created export strategies, market research, brand and product positioning strategies to identify new international markets. I have also organised trade shows and events across Europe and Asia.

My hands on experience has included managing order processing, customer care and warehouse operations. I have also managed the development of multiple international e-commerce websites, with customers all over the world. My digital marketing experience includes the creation of online content, search engine optimisation (SEO), conversion rate optimisation (CRO), social media marketing, management of affiliate marketing and advertising through traditional media to increase sales and international brand awareness.

I love languages. I am fluent in French and always on the lookout to improve my Spanish and Italian too. I have been lucky to have travelled all over the world for business, with Japan being a firm favourite in the countries I have visited.
