Director, Cloud and Infrastructure Operations

Having overall accountability for the technical infrastructure of Your Neighbourhood Credit Union, I provide leadership in the development of the infrastructure strategy with a key focus area of cloud implementation, adoption, and migration. Then execute the strategy in a timely manner, on schedule, on scope, and within budget. 

Responsible for strategic planning and road mapping, IT budgeting, and cost control. Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technology. Evaluate & recommend corporate information technology solutions, oversee projects to enhance technology platforms ensuring the availability compliance to the business's service level requirements. Execute initiatives to provide cost-effective strategies to reduce inefficiencies, and optimize costs while keeping scalability, robustness, security, continuity of business, and disaster recovery with stakeholders in top of mind.
  

Fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the IT team. Following Agile Leadership practices to facilitate ownership and self-management in team members. The team ensures smooth delivery and operation of IT services for over 250 employees in 19 locations.

Manage vendor relationships including evaluating new and existing vendors, to ensure services delivered meet the required business value objectives, IT and security standards.
