Heide Lindgren graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University in April of 2021 with a bachelor's degree in psychology and immediately began work as a Psychiatric Technician at Lifeways, Inc. She moved into the outpatient field, first as a provider, and then as the head of the Outpatient Department at A Body & Mind Health Services. Wanting to pursue her dream of combining physical and mental health to help people find their path to feeling whole, Heide left ABM in December of 2022 to start her own online fitness and wellness coaching company, Heide Lindgren Fitness Coaching. Her career experience also spans having worked as a professional model for the last 23 years and she has never stopped working to use her connections, platform, and experience to leave a positive impact on the world via social business, non-profits, and wellness-related activities. Heide serves on the board of non-profit REBUILD Globally, which seeks to end poverty in Haiti through job training, education, and employment opportunities. As a guest designer and ambassador for Haitian ethical fashion brand Deux Mains Designs, she has worked to produce multiple photo shoots and events for the company, utilizing her experience in fashion and understanding of fashion markets to help Deux Mains elevate their brand and expand their audience, furthering the availability of work opportunities in Port au Prince. Heide believes that wellness involves both our physical and mental health as well as our interactions with people and planet, and she will always seek new opportunities to marry these concepts in both work and daily life.
