Hello! I’m an Australian freelance writer, and in true Aussie fashion - I move around. Now, I'm based in Georgia (Eurasia). I write website copy, blogs, cultural trend analysis reports, impact reports, grants and award submissions. Also, brand and awareness campaigns. Basically… the works. How did I get here? My career started in sales, in Sydney’s corporate sector. Unhappy with that direction, I jumped to communications led a children’s rights campaign for an I-NGO in Asia, and developed business relationships for the organisation. Back again in Oz, I carried the campaign development, communications and network management skills into communications and copywriting roles in the NSW Government and the community housing sector. Now, with my skills bundled up (and my trusty laptop) I’m freelance, and I work with clients globally. What do I love to write about the most? Our human weirdness. Most of my career has been in social and community-centred sectors - people fascinate me. To write about the different cultures I’ve lived with, their (seemingly) strange traditions, and through a lens of visual anthropology, the stories that our objects hold.
