Leaning into my experience of bespoke learning development I took on the role of Learning Design Manager where my main focus was leading a team of senior learning designers, creating bespoke eLearning solutions, writing RFPs, and pitching to prospective customers.

Creating bespoke eLearning solutions with enterprise clients, SMEs & charities - from PwC & McKinsey to Booking.com and Samaritans. I was also part of the pre-sales team, providing learning design support for our proposals, and I was mentor to the junior LDs and Scriptwriters.

Working in the Financial Services sector I developed compliance solutions for global customers. I was also responsible for writing RFPs, providing pricing and resource estimates and leading junior team members.

I recently won Leader of the Year 2024 at The British Training Awards and I’m told that’s the sort of thing you put on your LinkedIn profile, so here we are. For “positive impact on the wider L&D community” no less. If winning awards for doing what you love is a thing, I’m all in.

I also once interviewed England cricketer Stuart Broad and managed to say “the greatest test wicket taking partnership ever” seamlessly, live, in front of 250 people. And it’s arguably one of my greatest life achievements, ever. Just don’t tell my kids.
