Achievements:
•	Designed and executed the People & Culture strategic plan which supported ACS’ positive cultural transformation over a 21/2-year timeframe and won ACS the Change Champion Award by The Voice Project (TVP) in 2022 for the SME category.
•	Introduced a robust recruitment and onboarding process reducing time to hire from 10 to 7 weeks.
•	Introduced progressive policies (gender-neutral parental leave, floating holidays, recharge days, flexible working) which enhanced our Employer Value Proposition (EVP).
•	Improved employee engagement from 40% in 2019 to 68% in 2022 and reduced attrition rates from 55% in 2020, to 29% in 2022 of which only 8% were regretted leavers. 
•	Improved ACS’ psychological safety score from 60% to 75% over two years and saved ACS $1m in penalty fees from Safework NSW.
•	Successfully rolled out a new HRIS to streamline the employee lifecycle with 100% adoption rates and reduced administrational tasks for managers and employees improving productivity.
•	Designed and rolled out a Total Rewards Program across ACS including a company-wide salary benchmarking exercise which influenced a more equitable culture.

People & Culture Consultant

Megaport

Achievements:
•	Implemented a robust recruitment and onboarding process reducing our time to hire from 100 days to 30. 
•	Reduced our global attrition rate from 50% of which 45% were our regretted leavers in 2017 (employees we want to retain) to 10% in 2019 of which 4% were our regretted leavers. 
•	As a result of implementing a range of people initiatives which included; introducing a recognition program, remuneration strategy and performance-based incentive plan, Take stock sessions (a.k.a performance reviews), we improved employee engagement scores from 5/10 to 8/10 over a 2 year time frame
•	Successfully designed and rolled out a Talent Management System over 4 months and reached 98% adoption by June 30 2019
•	Instigated a complete cultural transformation in the office in Berlin by ways of focus groups, mediation and effectively partnering with the Works Council representative. 
•	Maintained HR/ER grievances to 0 by ways of coaching and educating the management teams on how to set SMART goals, providing continuous feedback, how to conduct Take stock sessions, having difficult conversations, how to conduct Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) whilst remaining respectful at all times. 

•	Leading a team of 5, including the Business Support function, and as an integral member of the Executive team reporting to the CEO, designed the People & Culture strategy which aligns to Megaport’s strategic business objectives
•	Implement initiatives that improved employee engagement and dramatically improved the culture across Megaport globally
•	Align and bring clarity during times of change; proven experience rallying others behind a vision and building a high performing team.
•	Develop, implement and maintain Talent management system, processes, policies and procedures that aim to assist with the delivery of Megaport’s strategic objectives.

Helen's experience working in a variety of work environments and cultures across six countries has taught her the value in diversity; in particular how diversity can enrich a company’s culture and bottom line. Helen draws on that experience when working with clients to offer them a different perspective on their personal situations.  Created a Talent Management function from the ground up
 Designed, led and delivered  Talent Development and Organizational Learning initiatives and programmes 
 Influenced the Leadership team to adopt a goal setting philosophy to include measurable KPIs for all staff through the successfull implementation of Oniqua's performance management and goal setting platform, Work.com (Salesforce.com) company-wide leading to 99% adoption and increased productivity of staff
 Introduced Recognition and reward programme, succession planning and coaching as one of the various talent retention tools
2. Coaching
 Provided individual coaching and counseling to staff to assist in performance and career development.
 Coached managers on employee performance management and on creating a feedback culture
 Worked with individual staff to develop and review career and performance development plans .
3. Employee Engagement, recognition and retention:
Through continuous feedback surveys, processes and the inception of recognition programmes, Helen strived  to maintain Oniqua's reputation as the employer of choice resulting in one of the lowest attrition rates in the software development industry at 2%.
4. HR practices and policy:
 Developed, refined and oversaw Human Resources and OH&S best practices and policies
 Ensured compliance with all relevant HR legislation
 Assisted managers in resolving all Employee Relations matters
5. Recruitment:
Created, managed and educated all managers on Oniqua's new recruitment, onboarding and induction strategies and processes
