My position as a data coach for the Nordic & Baltic cluster in MSD is a broad range of responsibilities, working both strategically and tactically within the field of data-driven decisions. As a data coach, I collaborate with stakeholders across the organization incl. Nordic leadership team, senior management, global teams, regional teams, and sales teams.  My main focus is to ensure that data-driven insights are integrated into business decisions and processes. I lead the data activation efforts in the markets, and drive data communities across the cluster and globally. I provide coaching, guidance, and support to teams across the organization. Part of my role is to have a strong collaboration with senior management, and leadership to ensure that data-driven insights inform all business decisions.

Gravid med diabetes & Pregnant with Diabetes app

I took advantage of being on maternity leave to develop ’Gravid med diabetes’ (Pregnant with diabetes), a free mobile and tablet/iPad app that guides pregnant women with diabetes (type 1, type 2 and gestational diabetes) on what to expect in the course of their pregnancy. The app provides instant, easy-to-understand information to support and motivate successful self-management in pregnancy. I conceptualised the app and decided on its content through a process of constant sparring with my co-creators Professors Elisabeth Mathiesen and Peter Damm, of the Copenhagen Centre for Pregnant Women with Diabetes. Funding the app involved using my network to gain meetings with decision makers in a number of healthcare companies and organisations.  During the implementation phase, I acted as project manager, overseeing budgets and timelines with the freelancers I hired to develop the design and coding. It has been translated to English (Pregnant with diabetes) in 2014. 2 years after launch (April 2015) more than 6000 downloads!

My focus was to find commercial opportunities in data driven solutions and ensure that new data science projects are commercially scalable. I do this by working to optimize collaboration and stakeholder management between DLIMI organisation and customers as well as  structuring the internal team’s processes and leading all bigger innovation projects with and without external stakeholders.

My main purpose is to transform the marketing thinking to a more digital perspective, and I have proven hands-on experience and a strong track record delivering successful digital marketing.

My position was Nordic Senior Digital Specialist and a leading part of the digital excellence team and active team member of creating the Janssen Nordic Digital Strategy. I pushed the boundaries and led Janssen to a new level of understanding and thinking digital. Challenging conventional business models by leveraging design thinking, my experience and industry network. Always ensuring that activities and success were driven and measured by, clear and well-defined key performance indicators – to determine if the business objectives continued to be met. Always built around data analytics, outside-in perspective build on customer insights and following the digital strategy. Secure alignment in a cross function cross country environment, driving alignment and document best practice and share with rest-of-organization for improved business processes across our business. My main focus was the Immunology team where I was digital partner for the brand managers, Establish Brands lead, corporate communication and digital HCP solutions. I have been able to continue to challenge and develop the conventional business model at Janssen, leading company projects to develop digital advisory boards, podcasts, corporate websites, therapeutic websites for patients and a digital hub for professionals, digital lead of the EMEA Medical Education Steering Committee, and Nordic lead for the HCP platform Janssen Medical Cloud.

Hello Group is a digital advertising and marketing agency, one of whose major clients is Novo Nordisk. Among other projects, I was involved in developing the concept and campaign for the internal launch of Next Generation FlexPen®. This required me to act as central point of contact for multiple stakeholders; including our client, Hello Group’s creative team, and external suppliers. The resulting movie was screened globally throughout Novo Nordisk, while a supporting newspaper was distributed at launch events at Novo Nordisk’s Danish offices.
