I managed 3 of the branches of DSS in the Netherlands. In these 3 cities, I was responsible for recruitment and the logistics of every moving job in these branches. I recruit and introduce employees into the moving service, as well as guide them through the ins and outs of working together efficiently and conducting a swift but safe move. Additionally, I conducted effective planning of Human Resources, logistics and communication with clients, colleagues and rental companies to ensure a smooth job.

During my Thesis I investigated “The Influence of Nutritional Status and Exhaustion on Maximal Fat Oxidation (MFO) during Exercise in Recreationally Active Athletes”. Two colleagues and I conducted the research from the beginning, recruiting 20 participants, used indirect calorimetry to determine our outcomes and analysed extensive data to come to a conclusion. O.H.D. Odysseus

O.H.D. Odysseus was formed in 2018 as the first international independent fraternity in Maastricht. It was founded by 11 students, who sought a steady environment in order to grow as humans. Along with the principles of Eloquence, Intellect, Courage, Responsibility and Self-Reflection the members follow student-traditions deeply rooted in Dutch and German university culture. In an ever-changing modern environment, steady values are of paramount importance for the opportunity to grow as a person. The founding fathers saw a lack of named principles in modern society and the opportunity to form young men into the leaders of tomorrow. Based on these principles, Odyssians have the opportunity to visit the fraternity’s guest-lectures, symposiums, workshops, literature debates, scientific discussions and collective studying sessions.
I was Vice-President for a year; responsible for managing relations, planning and organising events such as the above-mentioned.
5 years later, O.H.D. Odysseus is bigger than ever and still growing!
