Hi! As a practitioner, I possess a unique blend of educational and enterprise knowledge and expertise for leadership, change, and innovation. I am interested in a range of issues of relevance to educational leadership and management, particularly around school effectiveness, leadership and management practices, practitioners’ work, and institutional development and innovation. My experience as an academic, teacher, school leader, and consultant has cemented my interest in projects that involve programme design and impact evaluation, professional learning, performance management, and innovations using digital technologies and system-thinking approaches. In my current academic role, at the University of Southampton, I teach modules in Educational Leadership and Management, Adult Learning, Innovation in Education, Researching Learning, and Digital Practices in Education and Learning. As a researcher, I am particularly interested in a range of issues of relevance to programme design, delivery, evaluation, change and innovation, and practitioner/institutional development with a focus on collaborative learning, and leadership.
