If a man is called a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and Earth will pause to say, “Here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well” ― Martin Luther King Jr. ^ This is my philosophy. Do whatever you do well, and always be kind :) I like lots of things and tend to wear multiple hats, but I’m at my happiest when helping optimise my team and enabling them to do their best work. I love building relationships and getting to know people beyond the surface.I always thought I was a freakishly creative rebel (the artsy type), and then I realised that I’m actually a bit of an organisational nerd! But I’ve come to notice that creativity presents itself in many different ways. Account management, team leadership, and operational process development are some of the places where I’ve found myself most comfortable. But I’m still figuring it out and enjoying every second of the ride!
