Added a zero to recurring revenue while making "Mobile DevOps" a thing

Built a marketing org that supported the business as we grew from 2 dozen folks to over 200, broke into the Japanese market (at time of writing, over half the top 100 apps in the country are being built on Bitrise), set up a very cool intent-based ABX motion, created the Mobile DevOps category, worked with the founding team and board as we raised our series B and C rounds, and much more

Gimmerce

Founded an ecommerce lifestyle business to allow my partner to work from home, leveraging printing tech to allow for rapid, cheap and scalable personalization of products to target niche groups of consumers. Gimmerce's first (and as of yet only) brand is Bijbelmok, which designs, produces and sells gifts and other goods targeted at Christians. In year one, realized 1.000+ sales directly to consumers and managed to get Bijbelmok items in over 70% of physical Christian-themed retail locations in The Netherlands, using a shoe-string budget and some highly targeted social ads.

Not a terribly scalable idea, as production still involves a lot of manual actions, but it's a great side-hustle allowing my partner to spend more time with our daughters.

Building a growth-driven marketing machine from scratch within a company that has the knowledge, experience and ambition to dramatically improve on the economics of video delivery for telcos, cable operators and broadcasters alike.

Results so far:
200% YoY growth in organic website traffic

Increased automation, greatly reducing required manpower

How?
Introduced agile marketing and continuous situational awareness through dashboarding of website performance data, social metrics, SEO stats, ad performance, lead generation and more. This allowed us to focus on high-impact marketing initiatives and see its impact on our metrics in real-time, including producing highly effective content that has garnered industry-wide recognition.

Introduced - and organizationally implemented - a CRM intimately connected to (online) marketing efforts, marketing automation, tracking of high-value customers and more. Resulted in better awareness and alignment of sales activities, as well as industry and customer knowhow. Automation and templating greatly improved sales rep productivity.

Transformed existing trade-show initiatives based on the traditional manned booth concept, with a combination of high-value complimentary workshops in private on-event meeting-rooms and highly visible paid branding of events. These initiatives have proven to be much more economical, less of a drain on company man-power and more effective by greatly improving Divitel visibility for trade-show visitors, as well as providing high-quality leads through workshop signups.

(Re)defined Divitel's corporate identity, as well as the value proposition for services featuring artificial intelligence, robotics, consultancy and more. Introduced the 'Improving the economics of video delivery' tagline. Introduced a story-driven sales enablement process encompassing improvements in everything from quotes and tenders to pitch-decks and 'cold' email templates.

When first moving out to the east of the country, this was a great way to hit the ground running. Even though, as a company, it didn't have the potential for international impact that I'd usually look for, it offered me the opportunity to hone some of my skills related to web-based user acquisition, conversion and process optimization.

Ran marketing and sales for the complete portfolio of niche webshops in the b2b and b2c space. As a side-project, streamlined the production process, enabling the organisation to handle a realized 35% YoY growth in sales, with a 40% smaller workforce.
