Hosting Show Her The Money! A Night to Rethink How We Fund Women-Led Startups

As a young founder, I learned firsthand how hard it can be for women to raise capital.

Most of the examples I saw were of male founders raising millions, shaping what “success” was supposed to look like.

When I moved to Silicon Valley, the seismograph of the global tech industry, where investment decisions ripple through the world’s most influential companies, I began to understand the deeper structures of power and imbalance.

I started reading studies, talking to founders and VCs, and digging into the numbers. And then I saw the one that changed everything:

📉 Only 2% of venture capital funding goes to startups founded by women.
📈 My goal became clear - to help move that number to at least 10%.

Not only through capital, but by shifting awareness, sparking dialogue, and inspiring action in the communities that shape the future of innovation.

Then I met Meytar Sorek-Hamer, a tech founder, researcher, and former NASA scientist, and together we built a vision we deeply believe in.
We even personally funded the screening rights for the award-winning documentary Show Her The Money. 

This film was created in collaboration with women VCs, tech leaders, and SMB founders who are changing the game from within.

What incredible energy we had on Friday at the “Grow Your Own Economy” workshop!

I had a wonderful time speaking with SF Bay entrepreneurs, creators, and experts. The audience’s desire to build truly meaningful businesses was absolutely electric! ⚡

In my talk, “From Founder Conviction to Repeatable Revenue,” we focused on the most critical challenge every founder faces:

👉 How do you convert a burning passion into a predictable revenue system?

⚠️The most common mistake I see is the rush to build a “GTM system” and processes (including AI agents) before completing the “GTM Roadmap Journey” that proves the business is truly viable.

📈Too many founders jump straight to Stage 6 (Business Scale) while skipping the five foundational stages that validate GTM fit.

💲Before spending a single dollar on marketing, every founder must walk through the six stages of the GTM Roadmap:

1️⃣ Passion → Becoming a "Magnetic Founder Story"

2️⃣ Hero → Achieving true "Buyer Clarity"

3️⃣ Belief → Creating "Messaging & Proof" that makes your buyer feel seen.
