Activation Accelerators was a new team in Salsify's R&D organization focused on growth product projects to drive adoption and usage of Activation features in the platform.

• Transformed a nascent R&D team with an ambiguous mission into a highly motivated and goal-oriented unit; delivered the first customer-facing feature (DoorDash Mapping Accelerator) in 5 weeks that reduced setup for DoorDash content publishing from ~5 hours to <5 minutes per customer.
• Scaled Mapping Accelerator from one destination (DoorDash) to 14 destinations by developing an internal tool accessible to non-engineers, which reduced implementation from 2.5 engineering sprints to 30 minutes per destination, enabling 93 customers (~25% of eligible customers) to easily set up new destinations in <5 minutes each. 
• Drove adoption of Amazon content syndication channel by partner with 2 Salsify R&D teams to build a Workflow that integrates to new Amazon APIs which extracts data that will address 70%+ of errors on the channel; feature installed by 100+ customers in first week (broke the record for most Workflow installs in one week!).
• Automated Salsify Open Catalog signup process via an in-app Workflow, which reduced enrollment time from two weeks of back-and-forth emails to a streamlined 15 minute self-service process and led to increased user acquisition (34 customers) within 3 months of launch.

• Launched API integrations to strategic 3rd party marketplaces, eBay and Target+, by collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers and a UX designer to deliver a CX that improved product content publish rates and returns/refunds handling versus the competition; created upsell opportunity pipeline of 150+ customers and generated $XXXK ARR (194% increase).
