◉ Developed the first data-driven content marketing strategy for CoCountant after it was launched in January 2024; since then I have been leading and overseeing the content team to ensure delivery of top-tier content.

◉ Developed the SoPs for the content team, outlining the best practices we would all be following to ensure our content not only ranks amongst our competitors but looks and reads better than theirs (our strategy is currently all about ToFu blogs that are more engaging, easier to comprehend, and informative).

◉ I regularly work on developing high-performing landing pages and assist with social media content.

◉ I work directly with the Managing Partner to create and improve structures and processes that ensure efficient task management and seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams.

◉ I mentor the content team and train them to leverage AI for efficiency in our daily writing tasks.

◉ I work with the SEO lead to optimize our web content and blogs for search engine visibility.

◉ I conduct regular content gap analysis to make sure we stay updated with industry trends, keep learning and unlearning as a team, and never miss out on anything when planning every month's content calendar in advance.

◉ I collaborate with the design head to plan and ideate marketing-related visuals from web content to blogs to case studies and brochures.

◉ Contributed majorly in taking the number of active e-book clients from 15 to 30+!
◉ Contributed majorly to client retention by engaging directly with US clients. 
◉Transformed the unorganized and unstructured content department into a systematic one through centralized reporting. 

Details:

Hired as the HoD, I was tasked with solving many issues including structuring the content department. Upon observation I realized that the core reason for most of the issues faced by the department was that 3 different teams (resume, blogs, social media + web content) were all being managed by one Team Lead who had expertise only in resume writing; the 4th team (e-books, which was most in need of attention) had no Team Lead to begin with. Having to manage 3 other teams that he was not specialized in leading, he was under the unnecessary pressure of delivering quality content within tight deadlines, and more damage than good was being done. The e-book team was also obviously in shambles due to lack of leadership.

I, therefore, reduced the unreasonable amount of duties on the manager by dedicating him to one team that he was specialized in handling (resume). I then hired new team leads for the remaining teams and evaluated the existing writers, some of whom, I realized, had to be replaced with new ones.

I then trained all the team leads to take care of their respective teams, as the Gestalt-Approach to Problem-Solving had helped me see that each team having its own team lead would solve most of our concerns. 

There was also a major lack of organization due to lack of a centralized reporting system. This led to work being assigned on multiple platforms to multiple members of a team depending on who was accessible when, and it was obviously a complete disaster because of such haphazardness. I fixed that by issuing the order that sales teams could only assign work to team leads on their respective trello board, so all requirements could be documented and traceable.

Salsoft Technologies (Pvt) Ltd

Highlights:
◉ Reduced their e-book department's refund rate from 40% to under 10% in 3 months (I was completely new to e-books!)
◉ Contributed majorly to the e-book department's revenue growth from a $100k  per month to $400k per month.

Details:
I got hired as the Head of Quality at Salsoft Technologies to solve their problem of a staggering refund rate of 40%. In the first two weeks of discovery, I noticed there was a sheer lack of accountability, transparency, and seamlessness in their work processes in addition to a weak team of editors. 


First, I created a centralized reporting system for the entire content department, and soon enough it became evident that I had solved multiple problems in the content department with a single solution. 
Then, I reassessed the writers and editors and conducted a TNA to determine their suitability for the roles some of them had been wrongly hired for. Creating a proper feedback and evaluation system, I helped some of them improve so they could retain their roles, and shifted some of them to teams they were better suited in.

As a result of considerably improved reporting and evaluation systems, both editing and writing teams strengthened and performed significantly better in their capacities. This led to increased client satisfaction and reduced refund rates along with acting as a major factor in scaling the department's monthly revenues.

◉ Experimented with generative AI chatbot Jarvis, and was requested by the AVP of our department to create training material for all writers for increased productivity and overall efficiency. 
◉ Implemented the BLUF technique in the content of my project and observed excellent results in terms of ranking, traffic, audience retention, and conversion of traffic to sales.
◉ Launched a plagiarism crackdown on the website I was hired to manage, identifying 60+ existing blogs with more than 50% plagiarised content; oversaw an all-hands-on-decks team activity to replace the plagiarised content with unique content which led to improved rankings and a better SEO score.
◉ Learned to use Ahrefs and SEO Surfer for keyword research and content optimization.
◉ Carried out vastly detailed competitor analysis for my project (streamingrant.com) and was praised generously for it by the AVP.
