Ritherdon are now over 120 years old and one of the few companies who manufacture all our products in the UK. So much so we have now  become a member of the Made in Britain campaign.

WORLD'S FIRST PASSIVE CABINET

Ritherdon have acquired POLETECH products which will allow Ritherdon to a offer a complete range of passively safe products that are second to non. Poletech products have been used on UK roads for over 18 years and have helped the Highways England  and local councils meet objectives like SAVING lives, REDUCING maintenance and installation costs.

Both Ritherdon and Poletech worked together before Christmas developing the worlds first passively safe roadside cabinet. The passive cabinet was tested at TRL and passed BS EN 12767 . This means crash barriers are no longer required thus it has the potential of SAVING Highways England thousands of pounds on installation costs per site. 

Ritherdon have the expertise to offer a FREE consultation service to help designers/engineers meet the standards for UK and Europe. We can visit potential sites to make recommendations on the relevant products and help meet Highways England and local government objectives..
