I found out my dad had cancer. At the same time, my mum’s heart condition worsened. So I stepped away. No hesitation. For two years, I focused fully on my family. And I’m thankful this career gave me the freedom to do that. By the end of 2023, they recovered. And truthfully, so did I. Mentally. Emotionally. Professionally. I returned with more clarity and focus. And rebuilt everything from scratch. Not just my team and production. But my purpose too. Today, I lead a boutique branch at PIAS — one of the largest FA firms in Singapore. We may not have the flash of mega agencies or branches.
