👋🏻 Hi! I’m Holly. I’m currently a first-year Master of Information student at the University of Toronto. 🔍 I chose to study information after I started to notice information systems not working optimally. I have a passion for organized, efficient systems and data-informed decision-making. 📖 I have a background in English & Cultural Studies. Studying English taught me how to communicate effectively orally and in writing, as well as how to develop an understanding of a topic and teach it to others. 🖋️ My work previously focused on writing informative blogs and articles for small businesses. Some of my professional interests include: -legal tech & law (particularly IP law) -healthcare infrastructure -professional development -information systems & data governance Outside of work and school, some things I enjoy: 🎧 listening to health & wellness podcasts 🐾 playing with two labs, Bear & Mousse 🍁 nature walks What's next? I’m currently looking for summer and fall 2024 positions to fulfil the co-op requirement for my program. My goal is to work in a law firm or corporate business in research, records management or operations.
