I am a data scientist with 8 years of corporate experience. I had the mandate of rolling out Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence capabilities in Investec South Africa's Private Bank in order to future proof the business and at the same time uncover growth opportunities. Currently my focus is on figuring out data science projects making use of graph networks and generative AI to unlock opportunities and efficiencies for Investec's UK and Europe strategies. As someone who also runs a free educational platform with over 20 000 students and a strong believer in positive disruptions of technology, I run educational initiatives within the bank to up-skill colleagues and executives from various departments to help them understand how to leverage ML/AI in their areas. I am also building an internal Insights Academy that is helping employees from different departments upskill and start analytics projects in their areas.
