I help organizations define, plan for and achieve transformation on multiple levels. Today, transformation of enabling apps and infrastructure is only the beginning; re-engineering to enable agility and continuous transformation is the ultimate goal. I apply Enterprise, Business and Technical Architecture disciplines to help companies transition to a more competitive state. Straddling the line between business and technology, I exploit my background in both to help companies define WHAT to do and HOW to do it. I am currently working with two co-founders to develop the Agile 2 Academy, a consulting practice focused on helping clients to achieve true agility as described in 'Agile 2, the Next Generation of Agile.' We approach transformation holistically, fueled by our backgrounds in Agile software development, DevOps, Organizational Transformation, Business Strategy and Enterprise Risk Management. Based on my background in Risk Management, Risk-Based Thinking and Risk-Based Problem Solving, I have defined a multi-disciplinary approach to Agile Enterprise Risk Management and wrote a book on the subject, which was published by CRC Press in July of 2022. The book shows how applying Enterprise and Business Architecture, Business Process Management and transformation disciplines, such as PPM, positions enterprises to recognize and respond to changing risks rapidly. I have experience in Investment and Commercial Banking, Retirement and Mutual Fund Management, Entertainment, Advertising, Software Publishing and Law. I hold an MS in Management from the Tepper Business School at Carnegie-Mellon, am a Certified Enterprise Risk Manager and a PMI-certified Project Management Professional. I have managed consulting engagements, served as an ICT executive, helped to define repeatable and profitable technology-enabled services and managed departments through reorganizations, mergers and divestitures. I have immersed myself in current technologies and disciplines, including a variety of programming languages (JavaScript, Node.js, Python), Cloud architectures (certifications in AWS), CI/CD, DevOps and AI/ML.
