Gomel Consulting, LLC worked with organizations and philanthropists to design and implement programs that build new audiences, nurture relationships, and advance nonprofit missions. Projects included work for The Axelson Center for Nonprofit Management, The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, and private family foundations as well as small to mid-sized nonprofits.

Member of Executive Team leading initiatives and projects in strategy formulation, strategic plan execution, and strategic process improvements. Special focus on operational efficiency projects. Developed and program-managed new acquisition integrations by working with senior-level executives and the private equity firm. Led and managed ad hoc initiatives by the CEO and acted as a “Swiss Army knife” for the organization.

I returned to Granicus to work directly with the CEO on operational initiatives, including strategy development, process design, and implementation.

Supported Executive Team in strategy formulation, strategic plan execution and strategic process improvements. Led and managed ad hoc initiatives by the CEO and act as a "Swiss Army knife” for the organization, including strategic client project management, partnership management and negotiation, and employee engagement initiatives and programs. Responsible for multi-level stakeholder communications and presentations and provided analysis for board meetings, executive updates, departmental notifications, etc.

The Kinship Foundation

Kinship Foundation is a family foundation in Chicago that works on education, biomedical research, community development, and environmental issues.  During the Focus 2012 refocusing and evaluation year, I worked directly with the Vice President on designing and implementing new strategic initiatives in both the conservation leadership program and the biomedical grantmaking program.

Strategic Initiatives Coordinator

Granicus, Inc.

I began at Granicus as the Special Projects Coordinator by taking the CEO's big, company-wide ideas and turning them into projects, programs, and results. Promoted to Corporate Chief of Staff to negotiate and manage all 550+ contracts with government clients and vendors, create the management by objective (MBO) goal-setting and goal management process, assist with business partnerships, and plan and direct all administrative activities for the CEO and Board of Directors. Founded and led the corporate social responsibility program that encompassed employee volunteerism, corporate giving, and sustainable purchasing and operational practices.
