Lymm Skatepark

Lymm Skatepark are a Not-For-Profit Organisation with a focussed mission to introduce a multi-wheeled sports facility to benefit the whole of the local community.

We support the local community by running Skate Camps, Clubs, Coaching and other fund raising activities.

Skateparks play a fundamental role in providing accessible spaces to learn and develop skills, as well as valuable opportunities to exercise, socialise and be creative.

A locally accessible skatepark in our village would welcome and cater for a diversity of uses and people.

Connex One is a  hybrid Cloud-SaaS solution for the global market, focusing on data mining, data analytics, and omni-channel communications, operating across 5 continents.
•	Connex one is now an award winning global operation market-leading SaaS offering with an ARR of 28 million.

AMG Ltd 

AMG Ltd is a national ICT firm which provides first-class ICT consultation, software development, and telecom solutions to SMEs within the UK. Software products include CRM systems, local applications, and VoIP systems.
•	Led introduction and sales to telecoms, increasing turnover by 200% to £750K.
•	Expanded team to offer service and coverage nationally while maintaining an unimpeachable reputation.

EFuse ltd

•	Successfully spearheaded hundreds of IT projects for more than 50 clients across the globe, increasing turnover to more than £250,000 annually.
•	Led the development of company strategy and execution with full P&L responsibility, overseeing the implementation of long and short-term goals.
•	Ensured principal risks were monitored and managed through effective internal controls and processes, guaranteeing compliance with industry best practices and government regulations.
•	Set up service desk, product suite, and pricing controls from scratch while simultaneously expanding marketing operations through local networking opportunities, including Chambers of Commerce, SEO, and digital advertising.

•	Recruited to manage ICT team,  in addition to the unit’s development and strategic plan with full P&L responsibility, responsible for corporate WAN, LAN, telecom infrastructure, and software applications.
•	Spearheaded the reorganisation and stabilisation of the department immediately after hire, increasing productivity and eliminating inefficiencies.
•	Scope quickly enhanced to include client management, liaising directly with clients to provide IT consultancy, assisting clients with ICT infrastructure and process improvement.

•	 lead IT workshops and seminars with up to 50 participants.
•	Installed, maintained and supported IT equipment, including servers, laptops, telecom equipment, printers, scanners, thin clients, workstations, hardware, and software, for 2000+ users.
•	Maximised availability of IT equipment and infrastructure through continuous improvement and proactive maintenance, increasing efficiencies and cost reductions.
•	Liaised with contractors and external suppliers, clearly communicating technical issues.
•	Provided technical support for all projects and initiatives, conducting end-user equipment trials and testing.

•	Quickly promoted to Printer Engineering, the most demanding department, after establishing a history of output which was 300% higher than average.
•	Tested, modified, installed, and repaired all ICT equipment, conducting routine electronic (bench and environmental) testing before recording, interpreting, and summarising data to develop reports for management.
•	Set up and operated test equipment, including power meters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multi-meters.
•	Tested, troubleshooted, and repaired complex digital and analog circuits, establishing quality processes, standards, and safety regulations.

Bench Technician

After 25 years of building successful IT, telecom, and SaaS ventures, I had a pandemic epiphany that changed everything: tech innovation and environmental impact could (and should) go hand in hand.

Now at Carma, I'm combining my love for problem-solving with purpose-driven action. Carma is revolutionising how businesses approach ESG by simplfying sustainability and amplifying impact. The Carma platform goes way beyond carbon offsetting to enable ecosystem restoration, biodiversity enhancement, and natural capital investment.

What gets me up in the morning:

Building tech that regenerates natural systems
Teaching local kids to skateboard through our community charity
Finding new ways to wipe out while learning to surf
Mountain biking adventures
