At WanderOn, we’re not just planning trips, we’re building a community where smart technology meets genuine human connections, and every travel experience tells its own story.

Working at Delhivery and Mu-Sigma early in my career showed me how technology can change the game, but I quickly learned that it's the people behind it who make the real difference. That's why WanderOn is built on four pillars: innovative tech, solid operations, creative storytelling, and bold leadership.

For me, entrepreneurship is all about passion, resilience, and inspiring others along the way. I’m dedicated to creating travel experiences that are personal and transformative, and I’m excited to keep turning our shared dreams into unforgettable adventures, one journey at a time.

I keep thinking about the boy I was.
From a small town in Rajasthan, middle-class family, no safety net.

I didn’t grow up thinking I’d build a company, or raise money, or see numbers like ₹100 Cr attached to something I started.

I just loved being on the road.

Travel felt like freedom. Like escape. Like becoming a bigger version of myself. And when I travelled with friends, I realized something simple, the best trips weren’t about places. They were about people.

WanderOn was born from that feeling.

From late-night planning.
From missed buses.
From shared rooms and shared stories.
From doing jugaad because we had no other option.

There was no master plan.
Just belief. And a lot of heart.

For years, we didn’t raise money. Every rupee mattered. Every decision felt heavy because if we got it wrong, there was no backup. When people trusted us with their trips, it wasn’t just business, it felt personal.

Some days were exhausting.
Some days I was scared.
Some days I wondered if this would ever really work.

And yet, step by step, WanderOn became something bigger than us.

Today, we’ve raised ₹54 Cr in Series A, after building a ₹100 Cr+ company completely bootstrapped.

I imagined a day like this would feel loud.
It didn’t; instead, I feel quiet, grateful, and emotional.

Because this moment isn’t just about the funding.
It’s about proof, that a boy from a tier-3 city, with no access and no privilege, can build something meaningful if he doesn’t give up on what he believes in.

With DSG Consumer Partners and Client Associates joining us, we’re stepping into a new chapter. One that lets us dream bigger, reach further, and take our idea of travel to the world.

 After my graduation in 2015 from NIT Kurukshetra, I have started working with Delhivery(  e-commerce logistics unicorn) in the Planning & Engineering department and understood the value of tech-driven internal processes. Worked there for 5 months and switched to Mu-Sigma for the Big Data Analytics. The learning was huge and got the essence of what wonders you can do with Data Analysis. 
Applying all of my life learnings building this company and learning the art of Entrepreneurship!

Most days at work, I’m surrounded by people between 22 and 30.

And honestly, I don’t feel like I’m “leading” them as much as I’m constantly learning from them.

They question things I once accepted.
They experiment without overthinking how it’ll look.
They fail publicly, recover quickly, and move on without carrying unnecessary shame.
They don’t wait for permission to try, they assume they’re allowed to figure it out.

I’ve seen this up close at WanderOn.

Young Indians today aren’t just filling roles, they’re reshaping how work feels.
They want clarity, not hierarchy. Purpose, not just pay. Growth, not just titles.

What stands out the most isn’t speed or ambition.
It’s curiosity.
It’s resilience after things don’t go as planned.
It’s adaptability in environments that change every few months.

Youth, I’ve realised, isn’t an age bracket.
It’s the ability to stay open. To ask better questions. To let go of ego faster than fear.

And maybe that’s the biggest lesson for those of us who’ve been around a little longer:
The future of work won’t be built by those who “know it all”, but by those who are willing to keep unlearning.

On National Youth Day, feeling grateful to work alongside a generation that’s quietly redefining what progress looks like, and reminding me what youthful energy really means.

The New Year doesn’t feel like a celebration to me.
It feels like accountability.

A quiet reminder that whatever I tolerate, repeat, or postpone right now will compound over the next 12 months. As a founder, I’ve learned that years don’t change businesses, decisions do.

So I’m starting this one with fewer promises and more clarity.
Clarity on who I want to build with.
Clarity on what deserves my attention.
Clarity on what I’m willing to walk away from, even if it’s comfortable.

No vision boards.
Just better questions, harder choices, and showing up fully, especially on the boring days.

That’s the only New Year ritual that’s ever worked for me.

Over the holiday stretch, the team worked from home.
No big declaration. No grand “policy.” Just a pause from the usual rhythm.

What I noticed was unexpected.

People returned with softer energy, but sharper thinking. Conversations were calmer. Decisions felt more deliberate. There was less rush to speak and more intention behind what was said. Ideas came framed better, not louder, just clearer.

Somehow, distance from the office brought people closer to the work.
Less reacting. More reflecting.

As a founder, you often mistake presence for productivity. You think seeing everyone busy means things are moving. But this break reminded me that sometimes the best work happens when people are trusted with space, not watched for output.

Work-from-home, for us, wasn’t about comfort.
It was about perspective.
And when the team came back, it showed, not in excitement, but in alignment.
Which, honestly, matters more.

Sometimes, the reset you’re looking for isn’t a strategy shift.
It’s simply stepping back long enough to see clearly again.

Lately, I’ve been paying attention to the small things I do every day.

Waking up early. 
Going for a run before the world wakes up.
Playing table tennis to reset my mind.
Keeping Instagram off for a few hours so my head stays clear.

None of these feel like big wins on their own.
But together, they change the entire day.

I feel more active. More present. Less reactive.
Decisions come easier. Energy lasts longer.
The day doesn’t feel like something I’m chasing, it feels like something I’m holding.

Sometimes we underestimate how much one habit can shift everything else.
A morning run doesn’t just make you fitter.
It sets the tone for how you show up, mentally, emotionally, physically.

The larger picture isn’t built in breakthroughs.
It’s built in these quiet, consistent choices we repeat without thinking too much about them.

That’s what’s been working for me lately.

Announcing plans. Fixing habits. Becoming someone new overnight.

But the truth is, most damage is done in January.
Because we commit to things we haven’t thought through yet.

This is the only month where you’re still allowed to slow down without falling behind.
To observe before you optimise.
To decide what not to chase.

Once February hits, execution takes over.
Meetings replace thinking.
Momentum replaces clarity.

So if there’s one thing January is for, it’s choosing the right direction before the year starts demanding speed.

There’s a pattern I’ve noticed on winter trips.

The first few days, people are restless.
“Can we add one more place?”
“Are we utilising the day fully?”

Not because they’re unhappy. But because they’re still in maximise-everything mode.

Then, quietly, something shifts.

Shorter days.
Earlier sunsets.
Long evenings with nowhere to rush.

By day three or four, the questions change.
“Is this enough for today?”
“Can we just sit here a bit longer?”

Winter takes away the pressure to perform travel. And in that absence, people stop chasing experiences and start actually having them.

Conversations slow down.
Silence feels normal.
Small moments finally get noticed.

Patience doesn’t arrive as wisdom.
It arrives as relief, from filling every hour,
from proving the trip was “worth it.”

Winter doesn’t teach patience by asking you to slow down. It teaches it by making speed irrelevant.

And that lesson stays, long after the cold fades.
