o	Drafting online and reseller terms and conditions as well as privacy policy;

o	Advising on variety of commercial and legal issues.

•	Advising daily on Non Disclosure Agreements, negotiating, drafting and liaising with business
•	Advising on outsourcing deals, including the drafting and negotiaton of industry specific services agreements
•	Advising on Service level agreements and providing business with interpretation of them

•	Advising, drafting and negotiating services agreements in relation to the provision of a variety of products – (mainly advising re contentious issues re data protection clauses, warranties and indemnities).
•	Assisted in the negotiation, and heavily involved in drafting subcontracts relating to the administration of financial products.  Contracts were of a high value and complicated due to an onerous historic parent contract.  TUPE issues also arose in this work.

Lloyds Banking Group

•	Senior legal member member of the Lloyds Banking Group Products Department
•	Advising on bespoke amendments to product specific Ts and Cs
•	Drafting bespoke legal mandates 
•	Advising on partnership law, company law (mainly applicable in director dispute situations) 
•	Elected legal representative in Cheque Reform committee and was one of three legal team  members who assisted in drafting the response to the HM Treasury consultation over cheque imaging and cheque clearing reform.
•	Elected legal representative in project team spanning over 6 months where LBG were, due to deemed excessive risk,  closing tens of thousands of accounts managed by intermediaries but held in end-customers name. Involved weekly calls and participation when legal issues arose.
•	Presenting to team regularly with “knowledge bites”
•	Handling of multiple local authority and private sector tenders for provision of banking services.  Involved negotiating commercial terms and conditions and drafting responses and questions to be submitted as part of the tender submission.  
•	Instructing external counsel.
•	Reviewing and approving multiple marketing materials and advertising materials.

British Gas

This role involved providing varied legal support to the British Gas Business legal department including:  
•	Advising in relation to corporate multi million pound tender opportunities (reviewing Invitation to Tenders, working with commercial teams and providing legal risk reports to senior commercial management);
•	Project led work including reviewing business processes and departments and revising/drafting and implementing legal documentation including terms and conditions;
•	Leading a high level legal study on British Gas’ relationship with third party intermediaries and preparing  risk  note on the position (both commercial and legal);
•	Drafting and  amending a variety of commercial agreements, including connection and metering service agreements, supplier framework agreements, and broker agreements (in relation to advance commission; 
•	Dealing with highly complex customer complaints;
•	Liaising with all online and offline marketing/advertising/promotional material;
•	Reviewing and amending commercial supply terms and conditions;
•	Liaising with external counsel.
