•	Reporting to the VP Warehousing Eastern Canada – Directly managed key projects and initiatives specific to the warehousing operations

Director, Projects - Supply Chain East

•	This was a newly created role under new LPL leadership to help nationalize and standardize the engineering process for base store design as it was inconsistent across the four regions (West, Ontario, Quebec & Atlantic)  
•	Collaborated with the regional architects, design consultants as well as Loblaw engineering and design personnel to develop a more consistent national approach to base store engineering

Senior Director of Engineering

•	Lead the physical distribution network redesign portion including warehouse design and build requirements as well as overall project management as part of the “Supply Chain 2010” major restructuring of the Loblaw Supply Chain
•	It also included the selection and implementation of new 3PL’s to operate the Greenfield distribution centres
•	The Network Build PM role for each project managed and coordinated activities for real estate, construction, IT, security, replenishment, warehouse and transport operations and 3PL requirements where applicable on Greenfields

Senior Director of Supply Chain Network Build

•	Utilizing the CAST network software, enabled larger scale geographic distribution network studies to be completed, analyzed and presented to senior management for approval including “blue sky” what if scenarios
•	Modeling considerations included vendor locations, store locations, existing DC locations, retail growth expectation by product category, direct store delivery conversions, days on hand inventory expectations by product group, existing DC capacity by product group, inbound transport costs, outbound transport costs, DC productivity and labour rates as well as land & construction costs by region
•	This process was used across perishables, frozen, dry grocery and non-food to determine the future state LCL distribution network to be implemented over the next 5 years starting in 2007
