Ian is Founder and CEO of Peira Consulting Limited, a UK-based consulting firm, dedicated to supporting clients in the telecoms and adjacent digital sectors. Ian brings over 30 years of experience in the telecoms, technology, and digital sectors, gained via numerous roles and engagements in global industry and consulting. He has worked with some the largest and smallest telcos in the world, and many inbetween, from developing highly complex operational and cost forecast models in the US, to redesigning demand management processes in Australia, to delivering a major shared access 5G programme in Asia, to designing radio systems for wireless ISPs in rural England. His experience covers the full industry lifecyle from start-ups and investor funding, through strategic planning, to procurement, hands-on engineering, systems architecture, and programme delivery, together with extensive expertise in policy development, telecoms regulation, telecoms finance, and radio spectrum management.
