Mirka

As the process owner for Information Systems I manage the budget, strategy and business planning for the department. I’m focused on utilising IT and my project management expertise to increase organisational efficiency, ultimately making my colleagues more effective.

Responsibilities
•	Manage 3rd party relationships to ensure KPI's are met and the correct level of service is maintained; as well as ensuring hardware is appropriate, efficient and up to date.
•	Auditing of the ISO9001 system as well as CRM and other system usage.
•	Evaluate new technology and create a business case when I see a benefit.
•	Plan expenditure against budget, reporting on progress quarterly.
•	UK Representative for the global CRM system, attending global meetings defining strategy and development. 
•	Design and deliver training for new starters as well as refresher training for existing staff. Training delivered both face to face and via Skype.

Main Accomplishments
•	Successfully completed a major PRINCE2 project to re-launch CRM in the UK, allowing Mirka to gather and utilise customer data effectively. This has been a major factor in supporting significant year on year sales growth since implementation. 
•	Resigned internal telecoms saving over £15k pa. whilst improving SLA’s, data pools, data speed, consistency and staff satisfaction.
•	Identified OCR software to automate order entry; resulting in increased accuracy and reduced complaints. This project was so successful at freeing up CS man hours that i was tasked with planning a project to roll the software out globally across all Mirka's Subsidiaries.. 
•	Designed the BPIC (Business Plan Implementation Chart) to ensures Mirka achieves the objectives it sets itself in annual business plans. This resulted in the increased completion rate of projects , which  has contributed towards Mirka’s strong and consistent YoY sales growth.

Information Systems Controller

I relocated to Milton Keynes from Brighton to be closer to family after completing university. In this role I maintained the Quality Management System for the UK, upholding the group's global ISO9001 requirements. I reviewed and re-negotiated all supplier contracts to ensure efficiency, improve SLA's and reduced costs. Promoted to oversee all IT purchasing, and maintenance for the UK. UK Super-user for Intranet and CRM systems, requiring system design, security maintenance, data analysis and custom report writing.
 
Role Highlights
- Attend Senior Management Meetings, defining administration, internal communication and IT strategy, reviewing system performance against annual performance indicators.
- Analysis and control of the company's business plan implementation
- Revolutionised the MIQS (QMS) system to better represent the company.
- Provide IT Support and manage the relationship with 3rd line IT support contractors.
- Processing the requirements of all external sales staff, enhancing the 'help sell' process.
- Setting and reviewing performance against targets including presentation of project progress and results to the management team.  

Main Accomplishments
- Designed and delivered a new £60k communication and IT System for the new UK HQ including site-wide seamless wireless, Mitel IP phone system, HD/Multimedia Ipad controlled meeting rooms and a dual screen hot desk environment. 
- Significantly improved field sales efficiency and effectiveness by issuing iPhones, iPads and associated work tools and efficiency software and training. 
- Designed the Business Plan implementation Chart (BPIC) To ensure the company follows through on its business plan each year. 
- Improved internal efficiency through a new SharePoint Intranet and document management system moving towards a paperless environment with intricate workflows.

Administration Controller

Ultra Green Group

Joined Ultra Green to provide all IT resources. Create policy documentation with processes. In this role I had full responsibility for the entire group which includes Intranet, E-mail server, IP Phone system, mobile network and all supporting software.

- Attend Senior Management Meetings, defining IT strategy, reviewing system performance and identify areas of improvement
- Analysis and control of sales forecasts and budgets
- Networking throughout the group to identify strategic benefit between group companies
- Negotiating all IT & Communication contracts.
- Personally provide IT support 24/7, resolving a diverse range of technical issues

I worked with H&A for my sandwich year at university and continued to work with them until I left university and the company became a division of Ultra Green Group my next employer. I worked with the owner to create their e-commerce site from scratch before developing an extensive online marketing campaign to drive traffic and generate leads.

- Designed and developed the company website to optimise Google search results (SEO)
