Ten years at BCS were punctuated by three years in Bath with Future Publishing, developing a computer books division. Ian then joined The National Computing Centre (NCC) in 2001 as Head of Research & Publishing and developed the content programme for 12 years leaving in 2012 to join Emerald Group Limited as Head of Service Development. In Summer 2013 Ian founded an event management services business with two partners, based in Cheshire.
