Reporting, forecasting, budgeting and long range planning for over 400 shops (EBTIDA £350m p.a.) managing complexity across an openings and closures programme of c 50 stores p.a. Produced business cases for store refurbishment. Analysed and negotiated trading terms. Managed 2 staff. 

•	Produced business cases for an improved website (reserve & collect) and an app for ordering food which have contributed to an increase in the growth rate of retail income, adding c. £7m p.a. 
•	Improved the forecasting process such that it was run at a manager rather than director level to enable more accountability and greater insight
•	Analysed the impact of Brexit including changes to duty free legislation
•	Analysed a voucher promotion in world duty free
•	Managed over £8m of marketing spend including tv advertisements, mapped expenditure to activities rather than out-dated account codes to give more transparency to senior staff

Built models to report segment results to EBITDA (Public Sector and Private Sector from large corporates down to small office home office) by combing complex general ledger and customer account details with full reconciliation. Partnering with sales and marketing staff. Project managed and led a team of 3 analysts. Revenue £ 700m.
•	Models allowed more focused network investment and sales & marketing spend with detailed channel performance metrics
•	Detailed customer numbers and KPIs by segment and sales channel including inflow, base and outflow through improved mapping techniques
•	Facilitated accurate payment of commissions to sales teams and detailed inputs to the planning process (such as product profitability by channel)
•	Use of trend analysis to sense check complicated data and to present information in a meaningful way to senior management

Finance Business Partner (Trade Sales & Marketing)
Deep dive reporting and KPI analysis for the Head of Direct Sales to highlight margin, growth and productivity opportunities. Preparing business cases and influencing sales and marketing to ensure correct decision making on product promotions, new product development, supplier trading terms including customer retention, contract bids and potential M&A activity. Revenue £400m.

•	Influenced management to adopt higher pricing for a market leading but comparatively expensive product which led to an extra £0.3m of gross margin within 12 months of launch
•	Partnered with the Head of Direct Sales helping make it the fastest growth channel. Work included deep dive customer profitability modelling which facilitated more aggressive pricing resulting in an extra £3m of business
•	Focused promotions away from simple money off towards more targeted and experiential     offerings which maintained market share whilst bolstering margins
•	Analysed and negotiated new trading terms for 3rd party retailers to promote mutually beneficial growth and ensure consistency amongst accounts
•	Improved controls around rebates enabling accruals to be reduced by £0.2m
•	Improved the process around contract bids to facilitate a quicker turnaround time to prevent opportunities being lost in 11th hour changes
