As an accounting professional, I have made significant contributions over nearly two decades, supporting and enhancing the operations of large, mid-size, and small teams in manufacturing, public accounting, real estate, retail, and nonprofit sectors. This journey has allowed me to interact and share exceptional knowledge with some of the most passionate professionals, leaving a lasting impact on the field. In my most recent roles, I have prioritized cross-functional activities with large global teams, leading to achieving multiple goals and critical deadlines. These goals include ensuring adherence to ASC 606 revenue recognition controls for SOX compliance, conducting year-end inventory counts, inventory reconciliations/valuations, managing ESG reporting, developing summer interns, and collaborating on ERP system integrations (most recently, SAP Software). I also bring interactive expertise in cost accounting, corporate taxes, fixed assets, general ledger reconciliations, internal controls, and financial audits. My proficiency in financial audits, in particular, demonstrates my competence and expertise in the field. I am pursuing a Certified Public Accountant license in Michigan, showing my dedication to continuous learning and growth. I now seek a rewarding opportunity that promotes growth and inclusion while allowing me to continue delivering outstanding interpersonal communication, proficiency, and accuracy. My experience with computer applications and ERP systems is extensive and diverse. I have worked with JDE Edwards, Great Plains, Sage Intacct, SAP, Blackline, Cognos TM1, Hyperion HFM, OneStream, Power BI Tool, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint). In earlier roles, I have also used other systems such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, Kronos time clock, ADP Payroll Processing, Drake Tax Software, and Oracle. This breadth of experience demonstrates my adaptability and versatility in working with different systems.
