I am a backend developer with a passion for building scalable web applications. I have about 5 years of experience in the backend space and one more year in frontend development. I am looking to be a part of a firm with a great working culture in a full time or part-time capacity. I'm looking for a backend developer position, or a full-stack position with a focus on backend. I'm open to trying new technologies but I'm highly experienced in Ruby, ruby on rails, and nodejs (Javascript). I would love to share my knowledge, potentially in a technical leadership position. My strengths lie within Ruby, Nodejs and Javascript. I specifically worked with the frameworks; Ruby on rails, Express and Nestjs. I had the opportunity to work with some very insightful senior engineers and manager at my previous workplaces. I am particular about best-practices and writing simple scalable code. I like giving back to the tech community. Fun Fact: I am interested in the Fintech space and its potentials as well as contributing to open source.
