As an associate at the Strategy and Digital Office of Sinarmas Multiartha, I contribute to the crafting, calculation, and communications the Group’s and Business Units’ strategy – from inorganic growth, digital products, or even go-to-market motions. 

Involved in multiple projects covering various financial service businesses, namely multi-finance, banking, life insurance, general insurance, insurtech, and wealthtech.

Achievements:
1. Go-To-Market Strategy: 
Nationwide roll-out to 112 branches across Indonesia for a new app for a multi-finance company that achieved 40% market penetration, 72% usage rate, and IDR 21bn in loan disbursement in 1 quarter.

2. Supervision of New Business Division:
Established, trained, and monitored a new Contact Center team of 6 agent & 1 manager that went from 0-100% running in 1 quarter, achieving 4/5 NPS with an average response time of 19 seconds.

3. New Product Offering:
Conducted research, calculation, and ideation for a new priority banking program targeting customers with at least $1mn in AUM, for a bank with $3.4bn in assets and $35mn in profit.


Daily responsibilities:
a. Produce and present strategy documents to Business Unit C-suite and Group Board Members
b. Build financial models to quantify business opportunity and economics
c. Work closely with Business Unit senior management in synthesizing corporate strategy and to monitor the implementation of strategy initiatives
d. Manage Product and Engineering budget and timelines for key digital strategy initiatives
e. Frame and co-create research initiatives with the Strategy and Digital Office’s business intelligence & research team

Strategy Associate

Assigned to the Strategy and Digital Office as part of my Financial Analyst Development Program. Contributing to the crafting of strategy documents, financial analysis, data analysis, and data research.

Achievements:
1. Due Diligence and M&A Strategy:
Conducted valuation, due diligence, and synergy exploration between 5 insurtech start-ups with a combined 2022 Annual GWP of $210mn, and 1 life insurance firm with $180mn 2022 Annual GWP.

2. M&A Strategy and Value Creation Plan:
Conducted valuation, synergy exploration, and organization restructuring for a 3-way business merger between a life insurance, general insurance, and insurtech company with a combined 2022 annual GWP of $255mn.

3. DDaT Cost Reduction Project:
Outsourced 1,000+ talents and secured partnerships with 40 vendors, achieving an average of 20% cost reduction for DDaT manpower spending.

The Financial Analyst Development Program is a development program for early career professionals initiated by Sinarmas Mining. 

In this one year program, I was assigned to the Strategy and Digital Office of Sinarmas as a Strategy Protege for On-The-Job Training, blazing a path for a fresh graduate like me to learn invaluable lessons from the likes of C-Suites, SVPs, and VPs directly, as I handle responsibilities that are usually only accessible to experienced professionals.

Graduated as 1 of the 5 best performers from the Financial Analyst Development Program (FADP) of Sinarmas, involved in financial services business strategy, with a focus on insurtech, general insurance, life insurance, banking, and multifinance services.

Before striving in the professional world, I graduated Cum Laude from Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, studied Business Management with a major in Finance.
