With 15+ years of experience, I've built everything from embedded systems to the cloud, using technologies such as assembly, Basic, C, Python, MQTT, SQL, and Apex, driven by curiosity and a passion for embracing challenges, continuous learning, and finding new ways to innovate. In previous roles, I renovated a line of A/V switches to modern standards, focusing on design for manufacturing. This resulted in 80% part standardization and reduced assembly time and manufacturing costs by 13% and 18%, respectively. I automated mining project scheduling, cutting time from 32 hours to just 2, significantly boosting operational efficiency and eliminating data entry errors. I also embedded Power BI dashboards into Salesforce applications, streamlining client report sharing by removing multiple platforms and eliminating nearly 100 Power BI licenses. I’ve worked on diverse projects, designing devices for biochemical analysis, interactive media, toys, and IoT applications, which solidified my generalist mindset — embracing building from multiple parts while keeping the bigger picture in mind. Today, as a software engineer working with Salesforce, I craft reports in Power BI, engineer data pipelines, and seek to improve processes, balancing customer needs with company goals to deliver more value. My journey has always been about embracing challenges, continuous learning, and finding new ways to innovate and contribute. Oh, and along the way, I also became a licensed commercial helicopter pilot — unrelated to the tech world, but it sharpened my decision-making, best practices, and risk management skills, which continue to come in handy.
