I speak to help people show up for themselves. For over 32 years, I spearheaded new ventures and have been a change agent for large, complex organizations. My role primarily involved working with the leadership and senior team to accelerate priorities, launch new divisions, products, and services to take the business to the next level. I am a data geek, driven by financial modeling, balanced by my operational savvy and intuition. The companies I worked with accomplish double-digit growth and I have been directly responsible for $5B+ and 10,000 employees. Now, I run Aligned Workplace showing C-suiters how to change perspective, align their daily activities to their mission, and manage their own reactions. I speak to leaders and their teams about accelerating their purpose. This results in high staff engagement, more satisfaction at work, hitting reach KPIs, growing the bottom line, and attracting and keeping great talent. I am a frequent podcast guest and I create "bite-size" videos (sometimes small bites and sometimes larger). They may make you laugh. Sometimes they will make you cringe. Ultimately, my hope is for you to see something differently than you did before. As a Techstars All-Star Global Facilitator (leading seed accelerator), I travel the country running start-up weekends, meeting amazing people, and building entrepreneurial ecosystems and financial freedom for individuals who want to start and scale businesses. I am working on my second book, aptly titled: Managing Annoying Me: True Stories - a collection of vignettes about lost love found self-esteem, and relief from daily BS (blind spots). I earned two Masters directly out of college from Columbia Univeresity (don't fret, I am a reformed overachiever). My first Master's is in Social Work, my heart, my soul, and my knowledge to manage people through systems. My second in Public Administration (MPA), to manage systems and strategic actions to better lead people who work in these systems. I taught 24 semesters of financial management (budgeting, grant management, accounting, and audit) at Columbia. After 63 years on this planet, I know my purpose is to help others. I am a natural motivator and cheerleader. I use hard-won lessons to pass on Words of Wisdom (WoWs) to tap into truths about team purpose and workplace dynamics. To fuel your success.
