Led the development and delivery of new on-board and off-board electrical architecture across the JLR portfolio, including integrating ADAS systems in collaboration with Nvidia.

Drove the Agile Pilot Transformation across JLR’s electrical engineering organisation, fostering a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.

Managed cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, technical, and business functions to deliver innovative solutions.

Mentored and coached mid-life senior managers through career transitions, helping them manage stress, adapt to leadership roles, and navigate organisational changes.

Chief Engineer, New Electrical Architecture, JLR Portfolio

Led the business and technical integration of the iPace donor vehicle with Waymo to develop a self-driving vehicle, managing a cross-functional team to meet technical and business objectives.

Collaborated with key stakeholders internally and externally to ensure seamless execution and market entry of the autonomous vehicle.

JLR-Waymo Program Lead (Self-Driving Vehicle)

After the initial launch, led the development and delivery of all iPace product programs, overseeing the entire lifecycle from initial concept to ongoing production.

Delivered all iPace projects whilst maintaining the highest standards of performance, quality, and innovation.

Led a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and production specialists to ensure all elements of the vehicle’s development were aligned with JLR’s brand values and market goals.

iPace Chief Program Engineer

Ford Motor Company

Led the successful introduction of the all-new 2-tonne Transit in Europe in 2014, overseeing the rollout of all derivatives.

Business and technical lead for the Transit Custom Mid-Cycle Fresh (2017), driving innovation and aligning cross-functional teams to meet market demands.

These experiences further developed my ability to lead complex initiatives and navigate challenges, skills I now apply in guiding others through transformation and growth.

Chief Program Engineer, Commercial Vehicle

Managed the global program for the Ford Ka and Ford Figo, from concept development through to program approval.

Based in Bahia, Brazil, leading the team to bring cost-effective, high-quality cars to global markets.

Chief Program Engineer, Global Low-Cost Car (Ford Ka, Ford Figo)

Led initial concept development through strategic confirmation for key models including Fiesta (mid-cycle), Ecosport, B-Max, Figo, Ka, and Transit Courier.

Coordinated cross-functional alignment across the enterprise, from business cases to marketing, engineering, and manufacturing strategies.

Spearheaded the development of the Transit All-Wheel Drive and 4.6-tonne derivatives.

Worked closely with the Special Vehicle Operations Team, Ford of Europe, and Ford Otosan, delivering innovative solutions across diverse markets.

Collaborating across multiple teams and leading product development reinforced my ability to navigate complex environments, a skill I use to assist professionals in their career evolution.

Chief Program Engineer, Commercial Vehicle (Small Programs)

Led the introduction of the all-new C1 platform across Mazda (Mazda 3), Volvo (S40, V50), and Ford (C-Max, Focus), with a focus on successful global market entry.

Based in Saarlouis, Germany, ensuring seamless coordination between engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams.

Overseeing global launches taught me the value of strategic planning and collaboration, which now informs my work in helping leaders navigate career transitions.

C1 Platform Launch Manager

Led technical and business development for all Ford of Europe catalyst solutions (gasoline and diesel), achieving substantial efficiency improvements.

Awarded the prestigious Henry Ford Technology Award in 2001 for the introduction of new catalyst formulations that reduced precious metal usage.

Driving innovation and efficiency in this role helped me refine my ability to find creative solutions to complex challenges—skills I now pass on to professionals seeking to reignite their careers.

Pioneered new methodologies for exhaust emissions analysis, incorporating advanced techniques such as GC, HPLC, mass spectrometry, and FT-IR spectroscopy.
